About me and my therapy practice

I offer a gentle, warm, non-judgmental space where all aspects of yourself are welcome. My goal is to ensure you feel safe and supported as we work together to rebuild your connection to yourself and your core values, becoming aware of how you function and the beliefs you carry.

This process isn’t about getting rid of your emotions. Instead, it is about making space for them, understanding what they are communicating, how evolutionary they might have helped us, and discovering when and why they first developed to keep you safe. Thanking them. Though now, maybe some need updating. Based on the idea that emotions are not problems to solve, they are signals to understand.

Getting to know them this way ensures they no longer control your choices. From that awareness, we gain the ability to make changes and gain a true sense of empowerment.

"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate." – Carl Jung.

From this, we can start forming a new relationship with your emotions—even the most challenging ones. Together, we can learn to view these unique parts of yourself as guests, meeting them with compassion rather than criticism. Allowing them to come and go.

We can bring creativity into our sessions as a tool to map your internal world from a fresh, spacious perspective. Using figures, objects, or cards allows us to externalise these internal energies. By stepping back to observe how they interact and what they do for you, you may notice more than one dominant voice, finally giving your quieter parts a safe space to speak.

Using your core values as a compass, we will explore whether any current behaviours feel mismatched with who you want to be. Our collaborative work is client-led, with the ultimate goal of fostering greater self-awareness and self-acceptance.

Practice description

My practice is rooted in Humanistic, Existential, and Behavioural philosophies.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute introductory call. There is no pressure and no commitment required after this first meeting. This is an opportunity for us to meet, talk about your primary goals for therapy, and explore whether we're a good fit. We can talk about the fees, how you would like to meet, and anything you need to raise initially with me.

If we decide to work together, I’ll send you over my contract, which goes through things in more detail. At the start of our first session, we can go over it.

This will be a more in-depth chat about how we work together.

We can have a 6-week review if you'd like to see where we are and reassess how we are working.
