I offer face to face counselling in Golden Cross (near Hailsham) and online sessions, with appointments available Tuesday to Saturday. Some evening appointments are available online.
We can meet weekly, fortnightly or, if it feels more suitable, arrange sessions as and when. I also offer short term therapy in a block of 6 to 12 sessions. Please get in touch to check current availability and talk about what might work for you.
About me and my therapy practice
As a person centred counsellor, I see counselling as something we create together. I’ll bring warmth, curiosity and my full attention to our time together, and we can build a space where you feel able to just be yourself and explore what’s really going on. I believe you have your own answers; sometimes it helps to have someone alongside you as you discover them.
My experience includes volunteering at St Michael’s Hospice, supporting bereaved clients, and my current volunteer work with CGL, supporting clients experiencing addiction. These experiences have deepened my respect for each person’s individual story and the courage it can take to seek support.
Let’s take the pressure off making sense of everything straight away. Together, we can stay curious about what comes up and give it space to unfold. I may gently challenge you when it feels helpful, always with care and respect for your pace.
Practice description
Imagine arriving at a cosy, warm and private room, tucked away in the middle of the countryside. It’s a peaceful space to pause, take a breath and step away from the demands of everyday life for a little while.
I offer face to face counselling in Golden Cross, and online via Google Meet. I work with adults who may be experiencing bereavement, anxiety, stress, life changes or simply a sense that something doesn’t feel right.
My approach is person-centred and relational. I’ll bring care, openness and genuine curiosity to our time together, and we’ll focus on what feels important to you.
My first session
You’re welcome to start with a free 15 minute introductory call. It’s a chance for us to meet, talk a little about what you’re looking for and see how it feels to speak with me. The call is completely optional though, so if you feel ready, you can go straight ahead and book a full session.
Sessions are 50 minutes and cost £55. I also offer 80 minutes at £85.
Before we meet, I’ll send you some information and a few forms to complete. In our first session, we’ll take time to settle in and talk about what has brought you to counselling, what you’d like from it and any questions you have. You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable. We’ll find our way into the conversation together.
