About me and my therapy practice

As an integrative therapist grounded in Relational Transactional Analysis, I believe no two people are the same, so there's no one-size-fits-all approach here.

Together, we create a safe, collaborative space to explore what's happening for you now, and the past experiences that may still be shaping it. We'll look at the persistent negative beliefs that might be holding you back and work through difficult feelings such as grief, shame, sadness, anger or regret. The aim is for you to feel calmer, more grounded and more able to live the life you want.

Some things are hard to put into words. Where it feels helpful, I bring Sandtray therapy into sessions. Based in Jungian psychology we work with symbols to explore what talking alone can't always reach.

Before training, I ran a boutique B&B, which gave me a real understanding of the pressures and transitions that running a business and everyday life can bring. Since 2023, I've worked in a domestic violence charity and a low-cost counselling service, supporting people through trauma, abuse and a wide range of life's difficulties.

Practice description

Sessions are 50 minutes, usually weekly at a regular time. If you need more flexibility or extra support for a period, we can talk that through. I offer both short-term and longer-term work, depending on what feels right for you. Some people come for a focused period to move through a particular difficulty, while others prefer to explore more deeply over time. You don't need to decide at the start. We'll talk about it in our first session and check in regularly to make sure our work together still feels useful.

My first session

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to notice how comfortable you feel. The relationship between client and therapist is what matters most. We'll talk about what you're hoping for and find a way of working that feels right for you.
