About me and my therapy practice
I offer a calm, accepting space where you can explore what feels difficult and begin to understand yourself more fully. My approach is grounded in the person‑centred model, and I work integratively, drawing on additional therapeutic perspectives when they can support your process. This means I work alongside you rather than directing or diagnosing, paying close attention to your emotional world, your relationships, and the patterns that may have shaped how you respond to life.
Some people come for short‑term support with a specific challenge; others feel ready to explore longer‑standing experiences that have been carried for years. Whatever brings you, we work at a pace that feels manageable and supportive, allowing you to reconnect with your needs, make sense of your feelings, and move toward meaningful change.
I aim to offer a steady, dependable therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, understood, and not judged. My role is to help you explore your experiences safely, deepen your self‑awareness, and find new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Practice description
My practice offers a calm, supportive environment where you can explore your experiences and the feelings that come with them. I work integratively, with the person‑centred approach at the heart of my work, and I draw on other therapeutic perspectives when they can help deepen understanding or support your growth. Sessions are guided by what feels important to you, and we move at a pace that feels steady and manageable.
People come to me for many reasons: feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. Some seek focused, short‑term support, while others want space for longer‑term exploration. Whatever brings you, my intention is to offer a grounded therapeutic relationship where you feel heard and understood.
You can expect warmth, empathy, and a reflective space where you can make sense of your experiences, explore the patterns that may be influencing your life, and reconnect with what you need. Together, we work toward meaningful, lasting change in a way that feels safe and supportive.
My first session
I offer a free 20‑minute initial appointment to help you get a feel for how I work and to see whether the space feels right for you. This is a relaxed conversation where we explore what has brought you here, what you might need, and any questions you may have about starting therapy, without any pressure to continue.
If you choose to begin ongoing work, our first full session is 50 minutes. We take time to talk about your experiences, what feels difficult, and what you’re hoping for. I work integratively, so I don’t use formal assessments unless they would genuinely support your process; instead, we focus on creating a steady, supportive foundation for the work ahead. My intention is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and able to settle into the therapeutic relationship at your own pace.
