About me and my therapy practice
I offer integrative psycho-spiritual counselling, bringing together psychological, relational, somatic and spiritual perspectives to support mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. I see people as whole beings, and explore the interconnectedness of mind, body and spirit while respecting each person’s individual beliefs, values and worldview.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative and non-judgemental. I draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS), person-centred therapy, Relational Life Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy, Intimacy from the Inside Out, attachment theory, mindfulness, meditation, sound and voice work and nondual practices. I adapt these approaches to your needs rather than expecting you to fit a particular model.
I have a particular interest in early developmental trauma and complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, attachment wounds, relationships with food and body image, spiritual wounding, ancestral and legacy burdens and the personal and collective unconscious. I also work with couples and families, interlocking systems of domination, and somatic approaches to healing.
I have specialist experience supporting people whose psychological trauma affects their voice, including performance anxiety, throat constriction and stammering/stuttering. Through IFS, breathwork, simple yoga-based practices and voice work, we can explore the parts of you that may fear being heard and support more authentic expression.
I welcome neurodivergent clients, people in non-monogamous relationships, and anyone seeking to communicate more effectively through Nonviolent Communication. Spirituality can be part of our work if it is meaningful to you, but you do not need to be spiritual or religious to work with me.
Practice description
I offer a safe, confidential and supportive space where you can explore what is happening in your life without having to present yourself in a particular way. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your needs. We may explore thoughts, emotions, relationships, bodily sensations, beliefs, patterns and the different “parts” of you that hold conflicting feelings or responses.
Depending on what feels helpful, our work may include talking therapy, IFS parts work, attachment and relational exploration, mindfulness or meditation, somatic practices, breathwork, simple yoga-based movement, sound and voice work or nondual approaches. You remain in charge of the pace and direction of our work, and we can adapt or pause any practice that does not feel right for you.
I also offer couples counselling, consultation and supervision for IFS practitioners, psychotherapists and counsellors integrating nondual teachings, and one-to-one nonduality and meditation mentoring. Please contact me if you would like to discuss whether one of these forms of support is suitable for you.
