Availability

I currently have availability for new clients and offer individual psychotherapy to adults aged 18+.

Sessions are available both in person and online. I offer daytime and some evening appointments, subject to availability.

Sessions are £65 for 60 minutes, and I also offer a limited number of concessionary spaces.

If you are considering therapy, you are welcome to get in touch to arrange a free 15 minute initial consultation. This gives us an opportunity to briefly discuss what is bringing you to therapy, what you are looking for, and whether working together feels like a good fit.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative psychotherapist, which means I draw on different therapeutic theories and interventions rather than working from one fixed approach. Therapy is tailored to you, with the way we work developing in response to your experiences, needs and goals.

I take an active and collaborative approach to therapy. Alongside exploring your experiences together, I may introduce therapeutic interventions, psychoeducation, practical strategies or different ways of understanding what you are experiencing. What we use, and when, will depend on what feels most relevant and helpful to the work.

My practice is trauma-informed, with particular attention to emotional safety, pacing and stabilisation. I am interested not only in what you are experiencing now, but in understanding how previous experiences and relationships may have shaped patterns of thinking, feeling, relating and responding in the present.

I have experience working with complex trauma and dissociation, sexual trauma and abuse, anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, identity and self-worth, emotional regulation and shame.

The therapeutic relationship remains central to this work. I aim to offer a space where we can be curious about your experiences without judgement, while actively working towards greater understanding and meaningful, sustainable change.

Practice description

Therapy with me is collaborative and conversational. I won't assume that I know what an experience means for you, and I won't try to fit you into a particular theory or diagnosis. Instead, we'll work together to understand what is happening, what may sit underneath it, and what might help.

Some sessions may involve exploring past experiences or relationships; others may focus much more on something happening in your life right now. Where helpful, I may bring in psychoeducation, practical strategies or ideas from different therapeutic approaches. At other times, what is most useful may simply be having enough space to slow things down and understand what you are feeling.

When working with trauma, I pay particular attention to pacing and emotional safety. Therapy doesn't require you to disclose everything immediately or revisit experiences before you feel ready. We can spend time building trust, developing ways of managing difficult emotions and understanding your responses before approaching more painful material.

My aim isn't to tell you how you should think, feel or live. It is to help you understand yourself more deeply and support you in making changes that feel right for you.

My first session

Before booking your first therapy session, I offer a free 15-minute consultation. This is an informal conversation where you can tell me a little about what has brought you to therapy, ask any questions you have, and get a sense of whether I might be the right therapist for you. There is no obligation to book afterwards.

If we decide to work together, our first full session is £65 and lasts 60 minutes.

Our first session gives us more time to explore what has brought you to therapy, what you are currently experiencing, any relevant history and what you would like to gain from our work together. We can begin developing an understanding of what may be contributing to the difficulties you are experiencing and consider how we might work together.

You don't need to prepare anything or know exactly where to begin. There is no expectation that you disclose difficult experiences before you feel ready, and you are welcome to ask questions about the therapeutic process at any point.
