About me and my therapy practice
A safe space to be heard, understood and accepted
Perhaps life feels overwhelming, you’re struggling to cope, or simply need someone to talk to. Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to face it alone.
I’m a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental integrative counsellor. Having faced many of life’s challenges myself, I understand that life doesn’t always go according to plan. My experiences have given me a deep sense of empathy, alongside the professional training and experience to provide a safe, confidential space to explore whatever is troubling you.
Supporting women
I specialise in women’s mental health, supporting women with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, separation and divorce, difficult relationships, grief and loss, life transitions and emotional overwhelm.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. We can work together at your pace, helping you understand your thoughts and feelings and explore what you need to move forward.
Children and young people
I also offer counselling for children and young people, providing a safe, age-appropriate space where they can feel heard without judgement.
Alongside my counselling work, I work within a high-school pastoral environment, supporting young people experiencing anxiety, emotional difficulties and school avoidance. I understand that difficulties attending school can often indicate deeper emotional struggles. My focus is on building trust and understanding each young person’s individual experience.
I hold an Enhanced DBS and am committed to safeguarding.
I offer brief therapy, usually 10 sessions, or longer-term counselling, depending on your needs. Sessions are available online, face-to-face or through home visits where appropriate.
I offer a free 30-minute telephone consultation, giving us an opportunity to talk about what is happening and see whether I might be the right counsellor for you, with no pressure or obligation.
You don’t have to work through it alone.
Practice description
I am based in West Sussex and offer face to face sessions at a practice in Lancing . There is free and plentiful parking next to the main train station. I can travel within 5 miles of Worthing for home visits.
My first session
I offer a free 30 minute no obligation call where you can tell me more about what brings you to counselling . This is also an opportunity for me to let you know how I may be able to help you.
