About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling disconnected from yourself and your relationship with others? Have you lost your sense of self? I am an integrative Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Couples Therapist. I am passionate about working collaboratively with my clients to support them in their journey to a happier, calmer and more fulfilling life. I have experience working with all anxiety (generalised anxiety, health anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, phobia and panic) low mood (depression and grief) and low self esteem issues as well as trauma led work, my approach is compassion based and led by my clients needs and goals and also how to maintain the changes they make during their therapeutic journey with me. I have extended my training to work with Couples who wish to improve their intimate relationship, resolve conflicts and repair broken bonds. I create a safe space for them to explore their relationship dynamics, communicate more effectively and work towards a stronger foundation.
I am also currently working towards my BACP Accreditation and studying for my Diploma in Clinical Supervision.
Practice description
I am an integrative CBT therapist using a compassion based approach. My therapeutic approach is grounded in a trauma-informed understanding of how overwhelming experiences can affect every aspect of a person’s life. Our experiences can shape the way we think, feel, relate to others, and experience ourselves. I believe that healing begins within a safe, compassionate, and trusting therapeutic relationship where your experiences are met with empathy, curiosity, and respect.
I recognise that our experiences can affects each person differently, and there is no “right” way to heal. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, I work collaboratively with each client, adapting therapy to their individual needs, strengths, and goals embedded in CBT but using a more integrative approach drawing on other therapeutic styles. Together, we create a space where you can move at a pace that feels safe, developing greater understanding, self-compassion, and resilience along the way.
My practice is guided by the principles of safety, choice, collaboration, empowerment, and trust. I aim to provide an environment where you feel genuinely heard and accepted, allowing you to explore your experiences without fear of judgement or pressure.
