I am currently welcoming new clients for individual counselling and couples therapy. I understand that finding time for counselling can be challenging, particularly when balancing work, family and other responsibilities.

I offer flexible appointment times, including evenings, to accommodate different schedules. My aim is to make counselling as accessible as possible, providing a safe, confidential and supportive space where you can explore your concerns and work towards positive change.

I offer sessions seven days a week, with appointments available until 11 pm, subject to availability. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your needs and arrange a suitable appointment.

About me and my therapy practice

My approach to counselling is integrative, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs, experiences and goals. I believe that every person has a unique story, and I aim to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and respected.

I work with individuals and couples experiencing relationship difficulties, broken trust, infidelity, communication problems, anxiety, grief, emotional distress and challenges connected to past experiences. Together, we can explore the feelings, thoughts and patterns that may be affecting your wellbeing and relationships.

In couples counselling, I help partners improve communication, understand each other's emotional needs, rebuild trust and explore ways of reconnecting. Where there has been betrayal or emotional disconnection, we can work towards understanding what has happened and identifying realistic steps towards healing and positive change.

In individual counselling, I support clients in developing greater self-awareness, exploring past experiences, understanding their emotions and recognising patterns that may be holding them back. We can also work on building confidence, setting healthy boundaries and developing more helpful ways of coping with life's challenges.

I believe counselling is a collaborative process. I will work alongside you at a pace that feels comfortable, helping you make sense of your experiences without judgement or pressure. My aim is not to tell you what to do, but to help you discover your own strengths, choices and possibilities.

Taking the first step can feel daunting, but you do not have to navigate difficult experiences alone. I welcome you to get in touch so we can discuss what has brought you to counselling and how I may be able to support you.

Practice description

Welcome to my counselling practice, where your experiences, feelings and wellbeing matter.

My name is John Bosco, and I am a qualified counsellor offering support to individuals and couples facing emotional and relationship challenges. With over 15 years of experience supporting people through difficult life circumstances, I understand how overwhelming life can feel when you are struggling with emotional pain, relationship difficulties or uncertainty about the future.

I specialise in supporting individuals and couples experiencing relationship problems, broken trust, infidelity, communication difficulties, emotional disconnection, anxiety, grief and challenges arising from past experiences. Whether you are struggling to understand your feelings, rebuild a relationship or find your sense of self again, counselling can provide an opportunity to explore what is happening and consider a way forward.

My approach is integrative and person-centred, which means I adapt my therapeutic approach to your individual needs and circumstances. I aim to create a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment where you can speak openly, feel heard and explore difficult emotions at your own pace.

In couples counselling, we can work towards improving communication, understanding recurring patterns, rebuilding trust and strengthening emotional connections. In individual counselling, we can explore personal challenges, develop self-awareness, establish healthy boundaries and build confidence in making positive changes.

I recognise that reaching out for counselling can take courage. You do not need to have all the answers before beginning. My role is to listen, support you and work collaboratively with you as you explore your concerns and identify what matters most.

I welcome you to contact me to discuss your needs and find out whether counselling with me feels right for you.

My first session

Your first counselling session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin exploring what has brought you to counselling. I understand that taking the first step can feel daunting, particularly when you have been carrying emotional pain or dealing with relationship difficulties for a long time.

During our first session, I will invite you to share your concerns, experiences and what you hope to achieve through counselling. We will discuss what has been troubling you, whether you are seeking individual counselling or couples therapy, and what you would like to change or understand better.

I will also explain how I work, discuss confidentiality and its limits, and answer any questions you may have about the counselling process. This is your opportunity to decide whether you feel comfortable working with me and whether my approach meets your needs.

For couples, the first session provides an opportunity for both partners to express their perspectives, explore the difficulties they are experiencing and begin identifying areas they would like to work on together.

There is no pressure to share everything immediately. We will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, in a supportive and non-judgemental environment.

Together, we can begin identifying your goals and considering how counselling may help you move towards greater understanding, emotional wellbeing and positive change.

Please feel free to contact me before booking if you have any questions about my services, fees or availability.
