About me and my therapy practice
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re not quite sure what to expect. As an integrative therapist, I aim to make that first step feel safe, attuned to your needs, and genuinely helpful.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We are all different, shaped by our experiences, relationships, and challenges. That’s why I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to you - your pace, your goals, and what feels most comfortable. Whether you’re feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, stuck in patterns, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, we begin with where you are.
Our work together is collaborative. You won’t be analysed or judged. Instead, we create a space where you can speak openly and feel heard. We might explore how past experiences influence your present, while also finding practical ways to cope with current difficulties. I balance insight with tools, helping you build self-awareness alongside strategies that support real change in everyday life.
Most importantly, therapy with me is about feeling understood and supported. It’s a space where you can slow down, make sense of things, and begin to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
Practice description
I offer therapy from my home in a calm, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable and heard. Sessions are confidential and relaxed, providing you with a space to explore your thoughts at your own pace.
I tailor everything to your needs — including how often we meet. Some people prefer weekly sessions, others less often, and we’ll find a rhythm that works for you. My goal is to make therapy feel supportive, manageable, and useful for you.
My first session
In your first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other.
I’ll explain how counselling works, and cover any information you might find helpful. You’ll have space to talk about what’s brought you to therapy, and what you hope to get from our work together.
The session is relaxed, confidential, and the fee is the same as future sessions.
