About me and my therapy practice
I use an integrative relational approach to counselling. I have a warm, flexible approach to counselling that focuses on the importance of relationships. I aim to create a safe, welcoming space where people from all backgrounds feel respected and comfortable.
Practice description
Individual Counselling
You may be grieving, feeling lost, anxious, or disconnected. These feelings can arise suddenly or gradually, often triggered by major life events or difficult relationships. Our identities constantly evolve with life’s changes, which can make coping challenging and leave us uncertain about ourselves or others. Counselling provides a safe, supportive space to explore your thoughts, feelings and the impact of relationships, helping you gain insight into your values and patterns. Through therapy, you can develop effective coping strategies, foster positive change, rebuild self-esteem, and reconnect with your sense of self.
Couples Counselling
In relationship counselling, I begin by exploring your patterns of handling conflict. Recognising whether you withdraw, concede, or seek agreement is key to understanding your relationship dynamics. Relationships require an ongoing commitment as partners change and face life events like parenthood, illness, loss, or betrayal, each bringing emotional challenges.
Counselling offers a safe space to address these transitions together, fostering awareness and connection. By exploring conflict management, couples can break old habits and try new communication approaches, promoting personal and relational growth.
Throughout sessions, you'll learn practical strategies and communication skills to strengthen your relationship, which you can apply both in counselling and daily life for continued progress.
Therapeutic support and strategies for Parents and Carers
I provide consultation services for parents and careers to address concerns about young people. We look at how relationships, development, or circumstances affect your child, and find new ways to support or understand their behaviour.
Consultations focus on your challenges as a parent or carer, including your experiences and feelings. The “good enough” parenting approach balances care with boundaries, fostering a secure environment where your child can be authentic.
My first session
At the first session it is important for me to gather some information about you as an individual or couple; as part of an assessment.
This assessment ensures all parties understand confidentiality within the counselling contract and there is a clear agreement on your goals for counselling.
We can also agree on the number of sessions you would like to work towards and the frequency of the sessions.
Selecting the right counsellor is important, and I am here to help you address your challenges. I offer a free, 20-minute phone or online consultation so you can ask questions, discuss concerns, and decide if my approach suits you—without obligation to continue.
I offer long-term, short-term (6-8 sessions) or brief therapy (4-6 sessions); we can talk about this at the first meeting.
Individual clients fees are £60 per session.
Couples counselling fees are £85 per hour or £95 per 75 minutes.

I have availability for supervisees, either in training or qualified on an individual basis or I have experience offering group supervision.
The times available for supervision are flexible across the working week.
Please enquire if you have specific needs for supervision.
About me and my therapy practice
Supervision is a space for learning, reflecting, collaborating and sustaining resilience for your development.
My priority, as a supervisor, is to offer a professional, safe and trustworthy relationship for you to develop and grow at whatever stage in your training or career in counselling. I am respectful of your way of working and of you as an individual.
During each supervision session you will be able to explore your client work in all contexts: relationships, difference and diversity, self-awareness and professional and personal development.
I use the Developmental model and Process model of supervision. I am an integrative counsellor and have experience of working with different modalities, therefore bringing this learning into my work with you, if appropriate.
Practice description
I have been supervising since 2013 and completed the Diploma of the practice of Supervision in 2017. I have experience of working with all client groups, Individuals and Couples in personal, educative and professional settings, and with children in schools since 2011.
