About me and my therapy practice
I'm a BACP-registered counsellor based in Redland, Bristol, offering counselling to clients across the Bristol area. With over fourteen years' experience, I work with both individuals and couples, providing a professional, confidential space to talk through what's on your mind.
How We Can Work Together
I offer in-person counselling at my practice on Chandos Road in Redland, as well as online counselling and telephone counselling.
What I Help With
I support clients with a wide range of issues, including:
Anxiety and generalised stress
Anger
Low mood and depression
Trauma
Bereavement and grief
Relationship difficulties
Low self-esteem and confidence
Work-related stress and burnout
Life transitions and major change
A broad range of other personal and emotional concerns
Whatever you're going through, you don't need a "perfect fit" issue to reach out — my experience spans a wide variety of concerns.
My Approach to Therapy
There's no one-size-fits-all approach to counselling. I listen closely to each person I work with and shape our sessions around your individual needs, creating a safe, non-judgemental space where you can speak openly and honestly.
Getting Started
If you're looking for a counsellor in Bristol or Redland, I'd be glad to hear from you. Get in touch to arrange an initial session and let's start building a productive working relationship.
Practice description
My Therapeutic Approach
My core approach is person-centred counselling, and I work integratively, meaning I also draw on other theories and practices — including CBT, psychodynamic, and humanistic approaches — to inform how I work with you. Rather than applying a single fixed method, I adapt my approach to what's most useful for your particular situation and needs.
How Long We Work Together
I offer both open-ended and time-limited counselling, depending on what works best for you. We can work for as long as feels helpful and useful, with no fixed endpoint, or to a specific timeframe if a more focused, short-term approach suits your needs better.
