Availability
I offer counselling sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with daytime and some early evening appointments available.
I specialise in relationship work, supporting couples and individuals when something in a relationship no longer feels as it once did. You may be finding conversations difficult, feeling distant or stuck, or facing a change or loss that has shifted the dynamic between you.
I work with couples who are in crisis, as well as those who want to better understand one another and find a way forward with greater clarity and connection. I also support individuals who are reflecting on relationship patterns or navigating complex emotional experiences.
Many people come to therapy at a point where things feel uncertain or fragile. You do not have to have all the answers — just a willingness to begin. I offer a calm, thoughtful and confidential space where we can gently explore what’s happening for you.
Alongside my professional training, I bring a depth of life experience to my work, particularly in relation to relationships, loss and change.
I aim to respond to enquiries within 48 hours during my working days. Messages received outside of these times will be answered as soon as I return.
I offer both in-person and online sessions.
As my practice can become fully booked, there may be times when a short waiting list is in place. I will always be open about availability and, where possible, suggest alternative support.
I take regular breaks to maintain the quality of my work and will communicate any planned time off in advance.
If you’re unsure whether I am the right therapist for you, you are very welcome to get in touch for an initial conversation.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer relationship counselling for couples and individuals, supporting you to find clarity, connection and a way forward when something in your relationships no longer feels as it once did.
You may feel stuck in familiar patterns, find communication difficult, or sense a growing distance between you and someone important in your life. You might be navigating change, loss, or uncertainty about what comes next. Often, people come to therapy when things feel fragile or hard to put into words.
I provide a calm, thoughtful and confidential space where we can begin to make sense of what’s happening. You don’t need to have everything worked out — just a willingness to begin.
My approach is warm, relational and collaborative. I focus on both what is happening in the present and the deeper patterns that may be shaping how you relate to yourself and others. Together, we can explore these with care and curiosity, opening up the possibility for greater understanding and meaningful change.
When working with couples, I support you to hear and understand one another more clearly, even in the midst of difficulty. I do not take sides; instead, I help you both feel acknowledged and work towards a way forward that feels right for you.
I also work with individuals who want to explore relationship patterns, process difficult experiences, or develop a stronger sense of clarity and self-trust.
Alongside my professional training, I bring a depth of life experience, particularly in relation to relationships, loss and change.
I believe that being truly heard can be the beginning of something shifting.
Practice description
I offer a calm, confidential and thoughtfully held space where you can speak openly about what is happening in your life and relationships.
Beginning therapy can feel like a significant step. In our initial sessions, we will take time to understand what has brought you here and what you are hoping for. From there, our work will develop at a pace that feels right for you, allowing space for reflection, insight and meaningful change.
My way of working is relational and collaborative. I pay close attention to both what is happening for you in the present and the patterns that may sit beneath this. With care and curiosity, we can begin to make sense of your experiences and consider what a different way forward might look like.
When working with couples, I provide a space where both partners can feel heard and understood. I support you to communicate more openly, recognise relational patterns, and approach difficult conversations with greater awareness. Rather than taking sides, my role is to help you understand one another more fully and work towards a way forward that feels sustainable.
For individuals, therapy offers an opportunity to explore relationship dynamics, process difficult experiences, and develop a stronger sense of clarity, confidence and self-understanding.
Sessions are typically held weekly and last 50 minutes for individuals. Couples sessions may be longer and can be discussed at the outset. I offer both in-person and online sessions.
Confidentiality, respect and trust are at the heart of my practice. I will explain how I work in our initial contact so you can decide whether this feels right for you.
My first session
The first session is a dedicated space for us to begin to understand what has brought you to therapy and what you are hoping might change.
You may arrive with clear concerns, or with a sense that something in your life or relationships no longer feels as it once did. There is no expectation for you to have everything worked out. We will take time to explore what is happening for you in a calm and considered way.
I will ask some gentle, focused questions to build an understanding of your current situation, your background, and what feels most important for you. This helps us begin to shape the direction of our work together in a way that feels meaningful and relevant.
If you are attending as a couple, the first session offers an opportunity for both of you to share your perspectives and begin to identify the patterns within your relationship. I will ensure that each of you has space to be heard, while also holding a balanced and supportive environment for the work ahead.
This session also allows you to experience how I work and to consider whether you feel comfortable continuing. The quality of the therapeutic relationship is important, and you are under no obligation to proceed unless it feels right for you.
I will outline how I work, including confidentiality, session structure and practical arrangements, so you feel informed and at ease.
