About me and my therapy practice
Hello and Welcome, If you’re here, something isn’t working as it should — and you’re ready for it to change.
I offer a focused, down-to-earth approach to therapy, helping you understand what’s going on beneath the surface and how to move forward in a way that actually lasts. I have dedicated my training and practice to trauma and EMDR therapy, supporting people with anxiety, overwhelm, past experiences, and patterns that feel stuck.
Alongside this, I work with couples to help them understand their relationship more clearly — improving communication, rebuilding connection, and making sense of repeated difficulties.
Clients often tell me they feel at ease quickly. I aim to offer a calm, professional space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and begin to make meaningful changes.
Practice description
I offer a focused, active approach to therapy, helping you understand what is happening beneath the surface and how to move forward in a way that feels manageable and lasting.
Our work focuses on making sense of your experiences, recognising patterns, and developing a clearer understanding of yourself. I work collaboratively and purposefully, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches and tools to support you — I won’t just sit and listen, but actively help you create meaningful change.
I specialise in trauma and EMDR therapy, which can be particularly effective for anxiety, overwhelm, and past experiences that continue to have an impact. Sessions are paced carefully to ensure the work feels safe and appropriate for you.
I also work with couples, helping you understand your relationship more clearly, improve communication, and move out of repeating patterns.
I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy, depending on your needs. My work is grounded in professional and ethical practice.
You are welcome to get in touch with any questions or book directly using my online calendar.
My first session
All initial sessions are offered at a reduced rate of £35, whether online or in person, for individuals or couples.
The first session is a chance for me to really understand what’s going on for you. I focus on listening carefully, taking stock of your situation, and helping you begin to make sense of things.
It’s not about anything heavy or overwhelming — there is no pressure to go into detail before you’re ready. Instead, we use this time to explore what’s brought you to therapy and consider what you would like to change.
I tend to keep paperwork to a minimum to allow for a more natural, relational approach. Occasionally, brief questionnaires or measures may be used if appropriate.
Following our initial contact, I will send a therapy agreement via email for you to review before we begin.
By the end of the session, we will have a clearer idea of what’s going on and how we can move forward in a way that feels right for you.
