About me and my therapy practice
Life can feel exhausting when it seems like you are constantly trying to keep everything together. You might be juggling work, relationships, and other pressures, feeling like there is never enough time or energy for yourself. Sleep can feel restless, your mind replaying events or worries, and you may carry a quiet sense of responsibility for others while your own needs get overlooked.
Many people come to therapy noticing that something feels off, even if they cannot quite put their finger on it. Perhaps life feels heavier than it should, or you are replaying patterns that leave you drained or anxious. Therapy is a space to slow down, notice what is happening, and begin to understand yourself more clearly.
I work in a relational, person-centred way, providing a supportive space where you can explore challenges at your own pace, make sense of things that feel confusing, and start to feel more like yourself. You do not need to have everything figured out to begin. My goal is to offer a consistent, patient presence so you can gradually feel calmer, clearer, and more in touch with what matters to you.
Practice description
In our sessions we focus on what matters most to you. Therapy is a collaborative process, and you set the pace and choose what to explore. My role is to understand what life feels like through your eyes and to explore challenges from your perspective, helping you make sense of what feels tangled and supporting you as you find your own way forward.
The work draws on relational and somatic ways of working. This means we start to understand your thoughts and feelings, notice how you relate to others, and connect with what your body and any tension might be communicating. Many people notice relief from overthinking, a clearer sense of priorities, and a bit more balance in daily life.
We can explore experiences like feeling drained by responsibilities for others, constantly trying to get everything right, or struggling with stress, anxiety, and exhaustion. Sessions are flexible to suit your needs, whether you are navigating a life change, coping with ongoing pressures, or simply want a space where you can be heard. Therapy is a place to reflect, feel supported, and gradually start to feel lighter without pressure or judgment.
My first session
Your first session is a chance to see what therapy feels like and whether we are a good fit. We’ll start by talking about what brought you here, what you hope to get from therapy, and any practical details such as session frequency or format.
You do not need to have all the answers or the right words. Many people find it helpful just to begin exploring and noticing what is happening for them. I am here to listen, reflect with you, and provide a steady, supportive space where you can feel comfortable.
Together we can start to make sense of challenges, notice what feels stuck, and explore ways to feel a little lighter and clearer. The session is about giving you space to be heard, supported, and understood, and to decide how you want to move forward.
