About me and my therapy practice
Perhaps you're here because you're confused, down, stuck, or anxious. Or maybe you're OK but could be happier. Whatever your starting point, I will offer you a space and quality of attention that will help you better understand yourself and your situation (e.g. life, relationships, career, social contexts). I will help you think about and develop your options, and decide what directions to move in.
I have worked as a person-centred psychotherapist for 15 years. I work with individuals, couples/pairs, groups and organisations. Person-centred therapy is grounded in the belief that you are the best person to understand your own experience, and that therapy should move at a pace that feels right for you.
Practice description
Anti-oppressive practices are important to my work. Clients and I tend to consider the wider contexts (e.g. the gendered, racialised, heteronormative, ableist, cis structures) in which they live. My PhD explored gender and 'race' in healthcare leadership, and has informed my thinking about how these wider contexts can shape people’s experiences.
Research consistently highlights the importance of the therapeutic relationship in helping people achieve their aims in therapy. So, feel free to contact me and discuss if you don't see what you are looking for below. We can discuss whether I might be able to help. And I'll say if I don't think I'm the right person for you!
I work solely online, usually seeing clients on a weekly basis. Four or six sessions tends to be a popular starting point. From there we review together whether you are getting what you need. Such reviews are ongoing if we continue to work together.
My first session
I offer a 20 minute telephone consultation free of charge for us to see how we get on and if we might work well together. There are no obligations or conditions around this.

I offer sessions between 9am and 8pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have evening availability on a Wednesday (and I don't work on Fridays or weekends).
About me and my therapy practice
The supervision that I offer addresses the interfaces of the personal, professional and systemic. Conversations may be about personal history; confidence; decision-making; communication; interpersonal difficulties; progression; leadership; and/or discrimination and anti-oppressive practices. My PhD explored gender and ‘race’ in healthcare leadership, and informs my thinking about power, identity and the wider organisational and social contexts in which people work.
I have worked as a supervisor for over a decade. I offer supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists, and to other helping professionals such as psychologists, coaches, nurses and healthcare managers/leaders.
I'm interested in developing a collegial relationship with supervisees in which difficulties and triumphs - and everything in between - may be freely discussed and learnt from.
Practice description
I work solely online, often seeing supervisees fortnightly. We would periodically review together whether you are getting what you need.
I charge a sliding scale of fees from £65-£85 per session. I try to reserve the lower end of this spectrum for students or unwaged individuals, but let's discuss if my full fee is unaffordable.

We may decide to review the work at fixed points (e.g. after 4 or 6 sessions) or on an ongoing basis. Often it is a combination. This is to ensure you are getting when you need from supervision.
