I can be flexible with my available hours, however I am unable to work on Sundays or Saturday & Thursday afternoons.

About me and my therapy practice

As a person-centred therapist, I work with individual clients or couples currently struggling with relationship issues.  I will support you to explore and understand how you (and your partner) are feeling and help you gain insight into why you are feeling the way you are. 

Sometimes we can get 'stuck' in a pattern of behaviour which is not helpful to us in our relationships, but we feel is too difficult to change.  I can support you to consider where those patterns developed; whether they are still helpful and if they are not, help you to find better ways of relating.

With this knowledge, we can work together to help you be the person (couple) you want to be.



Practice description

I work in a person-centred way, which means working with the client(s) at their own pace and ensuring they feel safe and comfortable enough with me to share whatever they are currently struggling with.  I will endeavour to provide some insight into what may be happening for the client(s) and will ask pertinent questions to clarify I have correctly understood the issue(s) that have brought you to counselling.


If you are an individual struggling with where you are in life at the moment and feeling stuck, or you are part of a couple and want to improve your relationship, I can give you the space and time to explore how you got to this place of uncertainty and help you find a way forward.

I offer a friendly, sometimes challenging opportunity to help you (or you and your partner) gain insight into difficult thoughts; feelings and behaviour that stand in the way of having a better life. I can support and encourage you to think about changes that would improve how you feel about yourself or your relationship.


My first session

I offer a free 20 minute session to help me get a sense of what you want to gain from counselling, and also to give us the chance to meet and decide whether we are a suitable fit for each other.
