About me and my therapy practice

Counselling is all about actively listening so I listen intently to what is being said, noticing and bringing to awareness what is not being said so this too can be explored together. My approach is accepting and non judgemental and I use everyday language avoiding jargon for clarity and understanding,

Practice description

The basic nature of my approach is humanistic integrative, founded on unconditional positive regard. Accordingly I employ different techniques in response to the interaction between us. This can feel challenging at times but will always be safe and supportive.

My first session

For the first session I offer a reduced rate of £40 to explore what you want to achieve from counselling and to see what the potential is for a positive working relationship.
