About me and my therapy practice
As an experienced person centred counsellor, I can offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement or pressure. A space where you are free to be yourself.
Therapy can be on a long or short term basis, depending on the needs of the individual. So whether you would like to focus on something specific that may be holding you back, or have time to unpick something of a more complex nature, I would be alongside to support you in your process.
Practice description
Sessions can last for either up to 60 mins or up to 90 and take place in very comfortable surroundings close to Paisley town centre and with free off-street parking.
My first session
A first session would typically last around 20 - 30 minutes and would offer the opportunity to discuss what you are looking to use the therapy for, think about what you want to get out of it, to ask any questions that may arise for you and to hopefully put you at ease and give a feel for what further sessions will be like. There is no charge for this initial session.

Availability
I currently have some availability for new supervisees.
I offer supervision in person in Paisley and online across the UK, with daytime and some evening appointments available. My working hours are flexible where possible, and I aim to respond to enquiries promptly.
Finding the right supervisor is an important decision, so I welcome an initial conversation to help us both consider whether we’d work well together. If my approach resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified supervisor and an experienced person-centred counsellor with over 13 years’ experience working with adults in private practice. Throughout my career I have supported clients with a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, trauma, abuse, grief, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions and suicidal ideation.
My approach to supervision is grounded in the same values that underpin my counselling practice: empathy, authenticity, respect and collaboration. I believe that supervision works best when there is a genuine relationship where both supervisor and supervisee can think together openly and honestly.
I recognise that supervision is about much more than accountability. It is a space to celebrate what is going well, explore the moments that feel uncertain or challenging, and support your ongoing development as a practitioner. My aim is to offer a supervisory relationship where you feel safe to reflect, question, learn and grow, while always keeping the wellbeing of your clients at the heart of our work.
Practice description
I offer a warm, collaborative and relational supervisory space where we can think together about your client work with curiosity and compassion. Rather than offering quick answers or rigid direction, I aim to support you in developing confidence in your own professional judgement while providing appropriate support, challenge and accountability.
Our work may include exploring the therapeutic relationship, ethical dilemmas, clinical decision-making, the impact of difference and diversity, use of self, professional boundaries and self-care. Alongside reflecting on areas of uncertainty, I believe it is equally important to recognise strengths, celebrate successes and acknowledge your development as a practitioner.
I welcome both newly qualified and experienced counsellors who are looking for a reflective, supportive supervisory relationship built on trust, openness and mutual respect.
My first session
Choosing the right supervisor is an important decision, which is why I offer a free 20–30 minute introductory conversation. This gives us an opportunity to get to know one another, discuss your practice and what you’re looking for from supervision, and consider whether we’d be a good fit.
If we decide to work together, our first supervision session will include contracting and an opportunity to explore your current practice, the clients you work with, any previous experience of supervision, and your hopes for our work together. I’ll also explain how I work and answer any questions you may have.
I believe that a strong supervisory relationship is built on openness, trust and mutual respect. There is no obligation to continue after our introductory conversation, and you’re welcome to take time to decide whether my approach feels right for you.
