About me and my therapy practice

Welcome to My Practice

My Professional Background

I am a qualified Psychotherapist with a specialised background in supporting individuals through complex emotional, relational, and behavioural challenges. Alongside my private practice, I serve as an Onsite Psychotherapist within a major global investment bank. This dual role gives me a unique, front-row understanding of the hyper-competitive, high-stakes environments where corporate stress, high-functioning anxiety, and burnout are prevalent.

My clinical experience spans a broad range of demographics. While I am highly equipped to handle the unique systemic pressures faced by corporate executives and gifted professionals, my practice remains a universally inclusive space. I work deeply and successfully with individuals from all walks of life—from high-net-worth professionals to everyday people—who are navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and deep-seated behavioural blocks.

My Therapeutic Philosophy

I believe that true psychological transformation cannot be achieved by simply managing surface-level symptoms. Because stress and emotional pain are deeply transactional, they inevitably intertwine our professional presentation with our unique personal histories. My role is not to offer generic advice, but to act as an objective, analytical, and deeply compassionate guide. I respect your intellect, but my goal is to help you step out from behind cognitive armour or intellectualisation so you can safely engage with your actual, lived emotional experience. I offer a highly confidential, secure, and non-judgmental container where you can let your guard down and explore your inner world safely.

Practice description

How I Work: Mapping Your Source Code

Many of the obstacles we face in our current lives are driven by encoded patterns running completely beneath our awareness. In our sessions, we will look past surface-level symptoms to explore the hidden frameworks shaping your choices.

Blending psychodynamic principles with a schema-informed understanding, I use careful, targeted questioning rooted in validated frameworks from developmental psychology. Together, we will trace the specific connections between childhood origins and present-day behaviours, effectively mapping the source code of the experiences that created your current blocks.

The Therapeutic Result. The goal of this deep work is to shift you out of autopilot. By understanding your historical defaults, you will develop the capacity to respond differently to life's triggers.

My approach helps you move away from common coping mechanisms—like intellectualising your feelings or deflecting uncomfortable realities—so you can safely step back into your actual experience. Through this process, you will break unconscious cycles, heal underlying trauma, and establish healthy boundaries between your professional demands and personal well-being.

Areas of Expertise: Executive Performance & Corporate Burnout: Navigating hyper-competitive, 24/7 workplace cultures.

Anxiety & Depression: Unpacking the deeper relational or systemic roots behind persistent emotional weight.

Trauma & Childhood Origins: Identifying how early life environments dictate present-day default settings.

Emotional Integration: Moving away from cognitive deflection/intellectualisation and towards genuine emotional presence.

My first session

Our First Consultation:

The initial session is an objective, confidential space designed to understand your current landscape and begin mapping out your goals. There is no pressure to have everything figured out before you arrive; my role is to help you untangle the noise.

What We Will Cover:

  • Current Pressures: We will look at the immediate issues bringing you to therapy, whether that is acute corporate stress, anxiety, burnout, or personal life transitions.

  • Initial Pattern Recognition: We will briefly touch on how long these challenges have been present, beginning to look beneath the surface at your default coping mechanisms.

  • Practical Logistics: We will establish a clear framework for our work together, including scheduling, your preferences for online or face-to-face sessions, and how we will use your Bupa authorization.

The Therapeutic Fit:

Above all, this first meeting is an opportunity for us to see how we work together. You will get a clear sense of my psychodynamic and schema-informed approach, ensuring you feel safe, understood, and structurally supported from day one.

Note: Please have your Bupa membership number and pre-authorisation code ready prior to our first appointment to ensure seamless processing.
