About me and my therapy practice
Having a space where you feel listened to and understood can help you explore life’s difficulties more openly, supporting greater self-awareness, clarity, and emotional growth.
I am an experienced integrative counsellor with 18 years of clinical practice since completing my training at Roehampton University. I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about the difficulties you may be facing.
There are many reasons why people come to counselling. You may be finding life difficult at the moment, feeling anxious, stressed, low in mood, emotionally overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward. Sometimes these feelings can be linked to past experiences, which may continue to influence how we relate to ourselves and others today.
I work in an integrative and relational way, drawing on both psychodynamic and humanistic approaches. This means I tailor therapy to your individual needs while paying attention to the importance of the therapeutic relationship. Together, we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
My approach is compassionate, supportive, and collaborative. I believe that being listened to and understood can help bring greater self-awareness, emotional understanding, and the possibility for meaningful change.
Practice description
I work either face to face from my counselling room in my home or remotely using Zoom or WhatsApp or phone.
My first session
I offer a complimentary 40-minute introductory session for new clients. This provides an opportunity for you to talk about what has brought you to counselling at this time, ask any questions you may have, and get a sense of how I work. It is also a chance for us to see whether working together feels right for you.
