I work Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the afternoon and evening. My regular practice is to work together in person, but I can also offer online therapy. Since the pandemic I continue to follow government guidance and during periods of self-isolation I offer temporarily video or phone support if that suits you better.
About me and my therapy practice
Feeling down and lacking energy? Not wanting to burden your family and friends or feeling they cannot help you? Have you been feeling low, lonely, anxious, low self-esteem? Or maybe you are dealing with a recent loss, problems in your relationships or at work? Then counselling may be of great value for you. Sharing helps you feeling less lonely. It may help to have someone independent to talk to and to share your worries and concerns.
Counselling can help finding new ways of thinking, behaving and feeling that leave you less drained and give you a sense of being more in control of your own life. You don’t need prior experience with counselling or therapy. Often the difficulties we bring to therapy are linked to our relationships with other people, eg. repeated patterns that are unhelpful. In therapy you can practice new ways of relating, testing out new behaviours to see if they suit you and give the results you hope for.
I work both individually and with relationships. I also have experience in working with family relationships, like adult children and their parents or siblings. I trained and work intersectionally and have integrated the seven core components of Gender, Sex & Relationship Diversity (GSRD) Therapy. I have a Ethical Non-Monogamy, BDSM and Paedophilia friendly practice.
If you're not sure it is for you, maybe you want to get in touch for a phone chat to ask your questions and decide for yourself if you want to try it out.
I have been awarded a Diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapeutic Counselling from the Metanoia Institute, and I am accredited with the Britisch Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am currently training at TA East to become an intersectionally aware supervisor, because I have a great interest in themes of difference, power, marginalisation, oppression and privilege.
Practice description
I offer a free telephone conversation before we agree to work together. You can raise any questions you may have for me, and I'll have some questions for you to find the best way to support you.
My sliding scale depends on the financial situation of my clients with £80 per weekly session as the starting point of our conversation. Relationship sessions are 75 minutes instead of the regular 50 minutes and are therefore charged at 1.5 times.
For organisations and companies I have a sliding scale from £80 to £150 per session.

For therapists who work with people with paedophilic feelings I have a flexible offer to have incidental supervision or to join a facilitated intervision group.
About me and my therapy practice
For me supervision is a collaborative process, where we work together support your growth and development. I am really inspired by Zachary's idea that supervision is about "becoming students of our own experience... sitting at the feet of our work".
The work you might bring can be anything ranging from individual client presentations, the therapeutic relationship, your own growth or the system in which you work. It is your space in which I want to support you to understand yourself better as a professional and in your work. For this I use a strength-based approach.
I have completed training in supervision through an intersectional lens. This means for me that I have a strong interest in how systemic enactments of privilege and oppression appear between us, how our intersectional identities collide with each other and between you and your clients. Questions we may ask ourselves are based on Victoria Baskerville's work around: risk of reinforcing the status quo of systemic oppression; our own and our client's functioning within the system; where our unconscious bias is in the relationship around sameness and difference; what we perceive as normative and othering.
I'm open, flexible, congruent, encouraging and above all curious about people and what is going on for them. I will support you in your self reflection and offer a non-judgemental space where I hope you will feel approached as an equal.
Practice description
People from all levels and backgrounds are welcome.
I have an integrative, relational & intersectional approach to my work, and have a special interest in diverse sexual orientations & relationships. I have integrated the seven core components of Gender, Sex & Relationship Diversity (GSRD) Therapy.
To work effectively I find it important that we to get to know each other as people, therefore I recommend regular supervision for a minimum of once a month. More frequent sessions can be arranged either on a regular basis or occasionally when the need arises.
Of course new supervisees are welcome to have a chat on the phone first or try me out before they commit to regular sessions.
