About me and my therapy practice

I have extensive experience as an Integrative Psychosynthesis counsellor/psychotherapist and am a professionally trained and registered member of the British Association of Counselling Psychotherapy (MBACP) accred.

Many people seek counselling at different times of their life, particularly, when there is distress, anxiety, depression or confusion. I will provide you with a safe, confidential and supportive space to explore what is troubling you.

Psychosynthesis is a sensitive, powerful, depth therapy that takes a holistic approach, recognising the roles of mind, body, feelings and spirituality in the process of personal growth. Therapy is all about growth and change, leaving behind old patterns that no longer serve you. Helping you to have a better relationship with yourself and others.

Health Insurance: BUPA, AXA, AVIVA

My private private practice is located in St Albans, Hertfordshire.

Practice description

Unlike many psychotherapies, Psychosynthesis is a Psychospiritual approach. Like many other counselling and psychotherapy approaches it is still a talking therapy. Psychosynthesis looks forward, as well as back into your life experiences and helps you to understand the meaning of present patterns and situations which are no longer serving you so that you can stop repeating them.

My aim is to help you to understand who you are, and how to value and nourish yourself. This approach is a holistic therapy, considering your thoughts, feelings and body. This is about understanding yourself so that life becomes easier.

My first session

As with all therapeutic approaches creating a relationship of trust is fundamental to our work together. With this in mind, the first step is to either have a short conversation on the phone or email me, to arrange an initial consultation. The initial consultation will be an opportunity to discuss your reasons for seeking counselling, to see how comfortable you feel with me and to ask any questions that you may have.

Following this assessment, if we both agree to work together, we will continue the therapy once weekly. Therapy can be in person or online.

I am an approved Healthcare provider for : Bupa, Aviva, AXA
