About me and my therapy practice
I am a Psychotherapist and Supervisor registered and accredited with the BACP. I have over 13 years experience of counselling and clients presenting with a range of issues from stress, bereavement and loss, anxiety and depression to complex psychosocial issues such as PTSD.
My experience has been gained from a number of workplace settings, from a Hospice, in the community, in the voluntary sector and private practice. Also as a Youth Counsellor. From my role as Clinical Lead of an abuse and trauma service, I have a caseload of service users with complex needs and supervise/mentor trainee therapists on placement. I am experienced in case evaluations, risk management and safeguarding.
I currently work as a Specialist Mental Health and learning Support Mentor at Universities. Alongside operating a small but professional private practice and take self-referrals as well as referrals from health professionals, EAP providers, occupational health and support charities. I offer therapy to Children age 4 to 16, adults in individual therapy and to couples. I am an EMDR practitioner.
I also offer clinical supervision currently to counsellors at a Children's Hospice, Local Housing Association, and Trauma services in the voluntary sector. I also offer personal therapy to other therapists and student counsellors. I am a registered and accredited member of the BACP and offer both short term and long term therapy.
I have a Master's degree in Counselling and Trauma from the University of Nottingham. I specialise in abuse and all types of trauma. My skills, expertise and knowledge focus on the promotion of health and wellbeing of my client whilst my compassion, vision and relentless enthusiasm focuses on their emotional and spiritual journey through the counselling process providing a truly holistic experience.

Practice description
As a registered and accredited member of the BACP with over 13 years of experience, I provide compassionate, professional, and tailored therapy services to children (4–16), adults, and couples. My expertise covers a broad spectrum of issues, from stress, anxiety, depression, and bereavement to complex psychosocial challenges, including trauma and PTSD.
My practice reflects my diverse professional background, gained in hospices, community settings, the voluntary sector, private practice, and universities, where I currently mentor students as a Specialist Mental Health and Learning Support Mentor. As Clinical Lead for an abuse and trauma service, I manage a caseload of service users with complex needs and supervise trainee therapists, emphasizing risk management and safeguarding.
I am an EMDR practitioner and hold a Master’s degree in Counselling and Trauma from the University of Nottingham, specializing in abuse and trauma. I provide short- and long-term therapy, offering a safe and confidential space to explore challenges and work collaboratively towards healing and growth. My approach is holistic, focusing on emotional, spiritual, and psychological well-being.
I also offer clinical supervision to counsellors in diverse settings, including children’s hospices, housing associations, and trauma services. Additionally, I provide personal therapy for therapists and student counsellors, ensuring they are supported in their professional journey.

I have ten years experience of counselling and clients presenting with a range of issues from stress, bereavement and loss, anxiety and depression to complex psycho-social issues such as PTSD. My experience has been gained from a number of work place settings, from a hospice, in the community, in the voluntary sector and private practice. I am a Clinical Lead of an abuse and trauma service, I have a caseload of service users with complex needs and supervise/mentor trainee therapists on placement. I'm a qualified Supervisor of Counsellors and of counselling students. I work to the BACP code of ethics and my approach is humanistic/integrative.
