About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative psychosynthesis psychotherapist with 30 years of clinical experience working with adults and couples. My practice is based in London and I also work online internationally.

I am specialised in working with trauma, relationships, couples and psychosexual issues. Often looking into deeper systemic and relational dynamics, and the impact of trauma on our self-connection and identity.

I work with people facing emotional difficulties, relationship challenges, life transitions, and questions around identity, belonging and direction. Many clients I see are thoughtful, capable individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected internally. Therapy offers a space to reflect and cultivate a more authentic self connection that allows for more life force and vibrancy.

I offer a compassionate, reflective, collaborative space where we can explore both present difficulties and the deeper patterns shaping them. I help clients explore their emotional responses, relational dynamics and internal conflicts. This often leads to greater clarity, self-connection and the capacity to make different choices.

I am used to working internationally, and within cross-cultural settings having spent over 20 years working with the international expat community in Geneva. This continues to inform my interest in belonging, difference, and how experience is carried over time.

Practice description

My approach integrates:

Psychosynthesis psychotherapy

Systemic and relational dynamics

Trauma integration and recovery

Cultural and identity awareness

Couples therapy

Family Constellations and Identity-Oriented Psychotrauma Therapy

I work with people who are often functioning well outwardly yet experience difficulty internally in relationships, decision making, identity or a persistent sense that life is being survived rather than lived.

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we look at the patterns organising your experience: emotional responses, relational expectations, internal conflicts and the influence of earlier environments. Difficulties tend to become clearer and more workable when understood in context.

My approach is integrative and depth-oriented. The aim is not simply coping strategies but increased internal coherence, the capacity to think, feel and act with greater alignment. As this develops, clients usually find relationships, boundaries and choices begin to shift in a more stable way.

I have particular experience working with complex personal histories, trauma, cross-cultural lives, long-standing relational patterns and periods of transition where an established way of living no longer holds.

My first session

The first meeting allows me to build a clear understanding of your situation. We discuss what has brought you and I ask detailed background questions to form a picture of your history, relationships and current circumstances. This helps us identify the areas that may need attention and how we might approach the work.

Sessions are collaborative and paced according to what is workable for you. We may reflect on present situations, past experiences and recurring patterns in thoughts, feelings and relationships, including what becomes apparent in the therapeutic conversation itself.

About me and my therapy practice

I specialise working with relationships in crisis, trauma, identity and couples therapy. Working with high‑complexity relationship and family systems, helping expat and binational couples, partners, and families untangle intergenerational loyalties, cultural identity, and unconscious patterns that quietly shape their lives and relationships.

I help clients see how family secrets, unspoken loyalties, and inherited legacies shape their relationships today, often in ways they had never considered.

As someone who has lived the mixed‑heritage experience, I specialise in the questions of belonging, cultural duality, and ‘not quite here, not quite there’ that many expats and cross‑cultural families struggle with silently.

Practice description

For couples therapy I blend my understanding of systemic dynamics with my trauma work, to craft a clear, 7‑step process to help couples move from chronic conflict or emotional distance to a more conscious, adult partnership, grounded in both emotional honesty and systemic awareness.

I am also a senior supervisor and trainer at The Minster Centre, which keeps my practice grounded in rigorous, reflective, and evidence‑informed psychotherapy.

My first session

For couples I will ask both parties to fill-in a questionnaire about the relationship. Then we will meet for a first session together and discuss the kind of work you are interested in doing and see if you both feel comfortable moving forward.

There are a lot of different ways to use therapy. For couples, it is not necessary to be in crisis in order to engage with what your relationship needs. Most couples want to discuss and make changes to the level of connection/disconnection that they feel, whilst understanding what is not working and how to improve it.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a senior psychotherapist with over 30 years’ experience working with individuals and couples, both in private practice and internationally.

My work is depth-oriented and integrative, grounded in psychosynthesis and informed by trauma, relational and systemic approaches. I pay particular attention to the underlying patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate — including unconscious processes, early relational experiences, and the ways these continue to influence your present life.

I work with people who are often managing complexity — internally, relationally, or in the wider context of their lives. This may include high levels of responsibility, transition, or a sense that something important is not working despite outward functioning.

Therapy with me is thoughtful, engaged, and focused. I will work alongside you to understand what is happening at depth, while also helping you move towards meaningful and lasting change.

Practice description

My practice offers a confidential and reflective space to explore difficulties, patterns, and questions that may not be easily addressed elsewhere.

I work collaboratively, helping you to:

understand recurring patterns in relationships and life decisions

explore emotional responses and internal conflicts

work through past experiences that continue to have an impact

navigate periods of change, uncertainty, or loss

develop greater clarity, resilience, and self-understanding

In couples work, I focus on identifying what has broken down in the relationship and what is needed to restore connection, trust, and communication. This often involves addressing underlying dynamics, supporting both partners to engage differently, and creating the conditions for meaningful change.

My approach is not prescriptive. Each piece of work is shaped around your specific situation, pace, and goals. I bring both depth and directness — offering insight, challenge where needed, and a steady focus on what will support real movement.

I have particular experience working with:

complex or long-standing relational difficulties

trauma and its ongoing effects

cross-cultural and international lives

individuals navigating responsibility, leadership, or high-demand environments

My first session

The first session is an opportunity to begin understanding what brings you to therapy and what you are looking for.

We will explore:

what is currently difficult or not working

any relevant background or context

what you would like to change or understand more deeply

I will ask questions to gain a clear picture of your situation, and you will also have the opportunity to experience how I work — whether this feels like a space where you can think, speak, and be met in a way that is helpful.

There is no expectation to commit beyond the first session. It is important that the fit feels right for you.

Types of therapy

I am particularly attentive to the underlying dynamics that shape experience, including unconscious processes, developmental patterns, and the relational field between therapist and client.

My approach is not formulaic. Supervision is shaped around the specific needs of your clients, your stage of development, and the complexity of the material you are holding.

I have particular experience supporting work involving:

couples and complex relational dynamics
