About me and my therapy practice
I help people navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and unlock their potential. Using practical, evidence-based approaches in a supportive, non-judgmental space, I guide clients to understand themselves better, manage stress, and make meaningful change. My goal is to empower people to feel more in control, confident, and connected to what matters most. I offer EMDR as a fast and powerful method to bring about change.
I also work with adoptive and foster parents to provide a compassionate, trauma-informed space where a parent/parents can feel understood and supported. My approach combines therapeutic parenting coaching and a confidential and emotionally safe self-reflective space.
I create a non-judgmental environment where parents/carers can explore their own reactions, feelings, and patterns — recognising that understanding oneself is central to supporting a child who has experienced loss or trauma. Sessions are collaborative, practical, and focused on building strong, attuned relationships within the family.
In my experience the most powerful way we can influence the change we want in adult/child relationship is through starting with how we choose to respond.
Practice description
I provide professional, compassionate therapy designed to help individuals thrive. I combine evidence-based approaches with a client-centred ethos, creating a safe space for self-exploration, growth, and lasting change. Whether you’re facing everyday stress, major life transitions, or deeper emotional challenges, I support you to build resilience, confidence, and wellbeing. I draw on counselling, psychotherapy and EMDR training and ten years of experience.
My practice also specialises in adoption and fostering support, with a particular focus on attachment, trauma, and therapeutic parenting. I work with parents and carers to strengthen their understanding of children’s emotional worlds, guide reflective practices, and provide real-life tools to manage challenging behaviours and emotional difficulties.
Sessions are a safe place to explore both the child’s experiences and your own responses, helping families feel more connected, confident, and resilient. My aim is to support families in creating nurturing environments where children can thrive and parents feel empowered in their role.
