My first session
What happens in the sessions?
I offer a free consultation so we can discuss what you wish to achieve from the therapy process, and the kind of approach you would feel most comfortable with.
This is a 20 minute informal chat over Zoom or telephone. I will do my best to make you feel completely at ease and answer any questions you may have.
People often report that they feel a real sense of relief even after this short session, as it's great to finally make that first step towards getting better.
If you decide to continue with the process, I generally recommend that we meet at least once per week for a minimum of 6 sessions.
Sessions last for 50 minutes each. There's also an option of a 'double session' if you'd like to discuss things more in-depth, or if you'd like to include some hypnotherapy. Whatever route you wish to take, I'm happy to help you.
You may want to take a practical approach and learn techniques and strategies to help you feel better as quickly as possible, or you might prefer to simply take your time exploring your feelings and getting to the root of why you feel the way you do.
I realise that first step can be very daunting, but I encourage you to get in touch. Don't suffer in silence - reach out and get the support you need - it might just change your life. For my part, I promise to do my utmost to help make the whole process as smooth as possible.
