Welcome
Reaching out for support takes courage, especially when life feels difficult, stressful, upsetting or overwhelming.
If you’re looking for a warm welcome, patience, understanding, insight, experience, and real results, you’ve come to the right place. If you need to talk to someone who will listen, take you seriously, withhold judgment, and help you see light at the end of the tunnel, that’s exactly what you’ll find here.
For over 15 years, I’ve been committed to helping hundreds of people from all walks of life address a wide range of life's challenges and struggles, and reach a better place. For the past five years, I’ve also supervised other therapists across the UK, giving me wide experience of the issues people are seeking help with today.
Together, we will open the door to positive change, greater well-being, and the life you truly deserve. We’ll explore your feelings, discover your goals, and create opportunities for building resilience and personal growth. Drawing on a wide range of therapeutic tools, I will tailor our work to suit your individual needs.
Are you ready to discover how counselling could make a difference in your life? Let's talk and see how we could work together.

About me and my therapy practice
Do you find yourself wondering how to deal with the challenges in your life? Talking with someone who will help you discover and understand yourself can help develop confidence and healthy self-esteem, manage stress and feel more balanced.
Counselling offers a space for reflection, allowing people to explore their personal strengths, feelings, thoughts, aspirations and limitations.
Opening up and talking to a professional can give people deeper insights about their reactions and responses to certain situations to understand not just how we are behaving, but why.
Do you wonder why certain patterns keep showing up in your life?
What would it feel like to finally understand what’s really driving your reactions?
Have you ever paused to ask: what do I need?
Maybe these aims resonate with what you are looking for. Would you like to...
Feel less low and anxious, recover from depression and feel lighter?
Address low confidence and low self esteem and feel better about yourself?
Heal from grief, bereavement, loss or a break-up and find ways to move forward?
Manage anger, sadness, frustration, disappointment and feel unburdened by negative emotions?
Process a traumatic event and start to recover?
Reduce work-related stress and feel more in control?
Address Autism, ADHD, identity issues and understand yourself better?
Manage difficult family situations and relationships and learn how to set boundaries?
Leave a controlling, abusive or unhappy relationship and feel safe?
Manage panic attacks and social anxiety and feel more confident?
Address chronic illness, addiction, sleep issues and learn ways to self-regulate?
You bring the questions — let's explore the answers together.
Practice description
We will... work at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you. When appropriate, I offer gentle challenges, thoughtful prompts, and reflective observations to help you make meaningful connections, gain insight, and experience those ‘lightbulb’ moments. This process can deepen your self-awareness and positively influence many areas of your life..
Carrying unresolved issues can be even more distressing than holding them in and may hold you back from living life to the fullest. Perhaps now is the time to begin making that change?
Are you curious about Autism and ADHD?... we can explore the signs and symptoms you're experiencing, discuss support options, and develop strategies to help you manage a diagnosis or a potential diagnosis, effectively.
Credentials... I have a 20-year background in business, followed by over 15 years of experience as a Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Counselling Supervisor, and Student Mentor. I integrate tools from counselling, psychology, neuroscience, behavioural strategies, and people skills, supported by a deep understanding of diverse workplace environments.
Meeting online... I offer live online sessions via Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp video, providing a convenient and effective way to access counselling support with excellent outcomes. Meeting online lets you connect from the comfort of your chosen space, whether at home, work, or even while travelling, without the need for travel time or expenses. All you need is a reliable internet connection and a quiet, secure environment. To get started, we can have an initial 20-minute introduction session free of charge before scheduling regular meetings.
My first session
Opening up for the first time
This can feel daunting, but many people find relief by sharing what’s been weighing on them.
Our first session is an important opportunity to establish a foundation for our work together. We will start with some introductions, I encourage you to share your name and any preferred pronouns.
Understanding Your Needs
We can talk about what brought you to counselling and what you hope to achieve. This is your opportunity to express your concerns, goals, and any specific issues you're facing. I may ask questions to gain a clearer understanding of your situation, including your background, current stressors, and any previous experiences with counselling.
Assessment
This is an ongoing process. I will follow what you are saying, ask questions to clarify, and create a space for open and honest conversations. I do not use forms, paperwork, score measures or other forms of assessing you. We gauge where you are at through the working relationship and the dialogue between us.
Setting Goals
Together, we will begin to identify your goals for counselling. This may involve discussing what the outcome of our sessions looks like for you and how we can work towards those aims.
Questions
You are welcome to ask any questions or voice any concerns you might have. This applies to the first session and at any point during our work together. It is best to raise these if they arise so that they can be addressed and worked through in a healthy and supportive way.
Reflection
After our session, take some time to reflect on your feelings about the experience. It’s important that you feel comfortable and safe as we begin this journey together.
Remember, the first session is just the beginning. It’s normal to feel a range of emotions, and it’s perfectly okay to take your time to open up. My goal is to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings.
We can continue to meet on a regular basis for as long as you need.

Coaching - Executive, Leadership and Career Coaching
What: Challenging and thought-provoking conversations to help you reflect, recalibrate and re-focus.
For: People navigating responsibility, change and important decisions.
How: Drawing on over 30 years’ experience that will help you understand who you are, what you do, and think more clearly about what comes next.
Gain: Insight, confidence, motivation, tools and resources to take the next step.
As an EMCC Global Senior Accredited Coach, I offer you:
Conversation - Collaboration - Change
Are you managing high-level or multiple areas of responsibility, need to make a strategic decision, lead and inspire others more effectively, or need to step out and gather your thoughts so the way forward is clearer? Coaching can help.
Have you had therapy recently or in the past and wonder 'what comes next?'. From my experience, working with a counsellor can be healing and insightful. Clients may then need something more solution-focused and action-oriented to make meaningful and lasting changes. That's where coaching comes in. Working with me as a dual-qualified coach and counsellor, you will receive the benefits of both a counsellor and a coach, whilst being clear about how we are working, what we are working towards and how we are doing it.
Do you want to:
Reduce overwhelm and confusion?
Develop strategies for managing stress and burnout?
Review and work through your options?
Define your goals and core values?
Take steps, with support, guidance and clarity?
Create positive, transformational change?
I integrate over 30 years’ experience working in business, mentoring, psychology, leadership, supervision, psychotherapy and coaching.
Having a good coach is necessary so you can be at your best -happier, healthier, more engaged, focused and purposeful
About me and my therapy practice
Here are some of the benefits you would receive from working with me as an experienced, dual-trained counsellor and coach, covering both forward-focused growth and deeper emotional support;
You get both action and understanding. In coaching, I will help you set goals, stay accountable, and move forward. As a counsellor, I can help you understand why you feel or behave in a certain way. Together, this means you’re moving forward with insight.
I will adapt to what you need in the moment. In some sessions you might need practical strategies, other times emotional processing. I bring all of this to my work without you needing separate sources of support.
I help you create deeper, more sustainable change. Coaching alone can sometimes overlook the underlying issues; counselling alone may not always focus on action that is needed. Combining both helps you work through root causes and build new habits.
This is really important - continuity and trust. You don’t have to explain your story to two different people. One professional understands your goals, history, and challenges in a more integrated way.
That said, it’s important we are clear about boundaries and the way we agree to work together. I hold individual, qualified and accredited membership with two governing bodies: BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council), so you know you are in good hands.
Practice description
For over 30 years, I have worked with senior leaders and managers in organisations in industries ranging from Finance, Education and Law to Government, Police and the NHS. I recognise the challenges, pressures and complexities of working in leadership positions and in high-pressure environments. I encourage you to bring your whole self to coaching, all the facets of your professional and personal life that make you and your situation individual and unique.
As a coach, I am not here to advise, instruct or tell you what to do. Together we will review your current position, define your goals, and plan the next steps. I will encourage forward momentum, ask incisive questions, give helpful feedback, challenge when necessary, and help you develop resources and motivation to create transformational change.
Do you want to reflect on how things got off track and find your way back?
Do you wonder how to bring out the best in yourself and others, to lead with confidence?
Do you need to make a decision or strategic move and need to step back and think it through?
Do you want to enjoy your purpose without anxiety and overworking?
Do you want to find your focus and direction at work or in your personal life?
Do you want to feel confident and assertive instead of unsure and insecure?
Do you want to take the next career step, or maybe use your time differently?
Coaching is about being true to yourself. Coaching helps to create understanding, alignment and harmony. When your core values are represented in the life you lead, the way you work and the relationships you are in, you will find greater health and happiness. You will make more accurate decision-making, communicate clearer boundaries and feel more deeply in control of your choices and direction.
Working with me as a dual-qualified coach and counsellor, you will find a wealth of practical experience, hands-on tools and dynamic discussion, with space for humour, feelings and fun.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a trained and fully qualified Clinical Counselling Supervisor. I offer supervision consultation to qualified Counsellors and Psychotherapists, online Nationwide and Europe.
I am passionate about the benefits of high quality supervision in counselling practice. My integrative approach to Supervision is in addition to the reflective, psychological work which is client-focused. This includes safeguarding, caseload management, looking at ethical issues and encouraging self reflection. Development of the reflective practitioner acts as a means to reflexivity and professional and personal development, of the therapist as an individual, as a therapist, and the development of your counselling and supervision practice. I provide a collaborative, developmental space within which challenging, intriguing and interesting issues arising from practice can be openly and creatively explored.
My core therapeutic model is the Five Relational Model (Clarkson). This provides a framework for integration of different therapeutic modalities, including Person-centred, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, TA, Transpersonal, CBT and creative therapies. The therapeutic relationship comes through in the supervisory relationship in that the work is relational, held within a dynamic that is mutually respectful, empathic and conducive to the way you work.
My approach is to provide you with a supportive, safe and guiding relationship whilst offering psycho-education, opportunities for learning and development and the monitoring of clinical practice.
I comply with BACP supervision standards. As a registered BACP Accredited practitioner I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework. My work is supported in supervision and I hold full Professional Liability Insurance.
