About me and my therapy practice
As a Registered Psychotherapist (MBACP) with over 17 years’ experience in psychotherapy, counselling, clinical supervision and mental health across corporate, educational, and private practice settings, I offer both short and long-term therapy for a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, both in person in Greater Manchester and online via Zoom.
My aim is to provide a warm, compassionate, and professional space where you feel safe, heard, and supported to explore your difficulties and move towards meaningful change.
Many people come to therapy after trying other forms of treatment, such as medication, self-help, or short-term counselling that haven’t brought the depth of understanding or transformation they were hoping for.

Practice description
What to Expect in Sessions
Sessions move at a pace that feels right for you. I offer a collaborative and reflective space where you can speak openly, explore challenges, and develop greater understanding of yourself and your relationships. Whether you’re seeking deep exploratory work or practical tools to help manage day-to-day difficulties, our work will be shaped by what you need most.
Types of therapy
My approach is integrative, drawing from a range of evidence-based therapeutic models to meet your individual needs. Therapy is tailored to your goals and paced in a way that feels manageable and respectful. I place strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and believe that feeling safe, understood, and accepted is central to effective therapy.
Clients I work with
I support young people, adults and older adults with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties.
Neurodivergence
I offer a neuro-affirming, strengths-based approach when working with neurodivergent clients. I understand the emotional, relational, and practical challenges that can arise from living in a world that is not always designed for neurodivergent ways of thinking and being.
Having recently qualified in ADHD assessment and management, I am able to support clients both pre and post-diagnosis. This includes working with issues such as identity exploration, emotional regulation, masking, burnout, self-esteem, and developing personalised strategies that work with, rather than against, your neurotype.
Specialist Work with Young People
I have specialised in working with young people for the last 8 years. I have extensive experience within further & higher educational and youth settings, which enables me to build strong therapeutic relationships and adapt my approach to meet young people where they are developmentally, emotionally, and socially.
How I deliver therapy
Long term therapy, online therapy, short-term solution focused sessions.
My first session
In the first session my aim is to provide a warm, compassionate, and professional space where you feel safe, heard, and supported to explore and assess your difficulties and determine whether I am the right therapist to help you.
Many people come to therapy after trying other forms of treatment, such as medication, self-help, or short-term counselling that haven’t brought the depth of understanding or transformation they were hoping for, so the first session is also about looking at what has and hasn't worked for you in the past, so we can work on providing you with the right kind of support.
Therapy can be a powerful turning point, offering a space to reflect, make sense of your difficulties and begin the process of meaningful and lasting change, with the right support alongside you.
