Availability
I currently have availability for new individual and couples psychotherapy clients.
I work exclusively online via secure live video, Monday to Friday, from 12 noon until 7pm UK time, with 7pm as the final appointment of the day.
Online psychotherapy can offer continuity and consistency for people with demanding schedules, caring responsibilities, frequent travel, or lives divided between different countries. It also enables couples to attend together from a private and familiar setting without additional travel.
Sessions are available in English, French or Greek. I work with clients across the UK and internationally, where online psychotherapy is clinically appropriate.
If you are considering psychotherapy, you are welcome to contact me to discuss current appointment availability and whether my way of working may be suitable for you.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a UKCP-accredited psychodynamic psychotherapist working online with adult individuals and couples.
People often contact me because they feel anxious, depressed, emotionally overwhelmed or uncertain about themselves and their relationships. Some are facing attachment or separation difficulties, cultural displacement, identity questions or an important life transition. Others recognise that the same conflicts, choices or relationship patterns keep returning, despite their efforts to change them.
My work is grounded primarily in the British psychoanalytic tradition. Rather than focusing only on managing symptoms, we explore what your difficulties may be expressing and how earlier emotional experiences, unconscious expectations and established ways of relating may continue to shape your present life.
I work thoughtfully and collaboratively. I listen closely, ask questions and offer observations that may help us notice connections or patterns that have been difficult to see alone. Therapy is not simply a space to talk without direction: together, we try to understand what is happening, why it may keep happening and what might allow something different to become possible.
In couples psychotherapy, I help both partners look beneath recurring arguments, emotional distance or communication difficulties. We consider the pattern the couple has become caught within, what each partner brings to it and what may remain difficult to express directly.
I trained at WPF Therapy and was awarded a PGDip and MA in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice by Roehampton University. Alongside my UKCP accreditation, I am a registered member of BACP and an accredited member of BPC and EAP. I offer psychotherapy in English, French and Greek.
Practice description
Psychodynamic psychotherapy offers time to speak freely while also developing a more focused understanding of the emotional and relationship patterns shaping your life. I will not give you formulaic advice or promise quick solutions, but neither will I remain a distant or silent observer. I participate thoughtfully, ask questions and offer observations that can help us think together about what may be happening beneath the surface.
In individual psychotherapy, we may explore how present difficulties connect with earlier experiences, relationships and ways of protecting yourself emotionally. We also pay attention to feelings that emerge within therapy, as these can sometimes help us recognise patterns that appear elsewhere in your life. The aim is not to assign blame to the past, but to develop greater freedom in how you understand yourself, respond emotionally and relate to others.
In couples psychotherapy, each partner is given space to speak and be heard. We look beyond the immediate content of disagreements to understand the emotional cycle beneath them: how each person reacts, what remains unspoken and how attempts to protect the relationship may inadvertently create further conflict or distance.
Where clinically appropriate, I may suggest a carefully selected clinical reflection, structured question or private interactive worksheet connected to a theme emerging in our sessions. These are not compulsory assignments or substitutes for therapy. They offer a way to continue noticing and reflecting between meetings and to bring new material into our work.
I have extensive experience of working online and regard it as a therapeutic setting in its own right. Meeting by secure live video can support regularity and continuity, including during travel, relocation or demanding periods of life. It can also allow you to speak from a private and familiar environment.
Sessions usually last 50 minutes and take place weekly at an agreed time.
My first session
The first session lasts 50 minutes and is charged at my standard session rate. There is no obligation to continue afterwards. It is an opportunity for us to begin understanding what has brought you to therapy and to consider whether my approach feels appropriate for your needs.
I do not ask you to complete a questionnaire or formal assessment beforehand. Instead, I invite you to describe, in your own words, what has prompted you to seek therapy at this particular time. You may arrive with a clearly defined difficulty, or simply with a sense that something is not right, that you feel stuck, or that familiar problems keep returning. Both are entirely appropriate starting points.
I will ask questions to help me understand your present circumstances, significant relationships and relevant aspects of your history. We may also begin identifying some of the emotional or interpersonal patterns that could become a focus for our work. You will have time to ask about my approach and any practical aspects of psychotherapy.
For couples, I will invite each partner to describe how they experience the relationship and what they hope might change. My role is not to decide who is right, but to begin understanding the pattern developing between you and to create conditions in which both perspectives can be thought about.
Towards the end of the session, we will consider whether continuing together seems clinically appropriate and potentially helpful. If we agree to proceed, we will discuss the practical framework, including fees, confidentiality and a regular weekly appointment time.
All first sessions take place online by secure live video and are available in English, French or Greek.
