About me and my therapy practice

I offer depth‑orientated psychotherapy for people seeking a more coherent and meaningful relationship with themselves. My work is analytic, shaped by many years of Jungian practice, and attentive to the inner world — dreams, symbols, and the deeper patterns that shape emotional life.

I work with trauma, identity transitions, and experiences that unsettle a person’s sense of continuity. Many people come when familiar ways of coping no longer fit, or when something in their inner life is asking for attention. The work often includes exploring dreams, unconscious dynamics, and the subtle movements of the psyche that point toward spiritual development and individuation.

My approach is quiet, steady, and relational. I offer a space where the self can unfold at its own pace, allowing insight, integration, and genuine psychological change to emerge over time.

I work with people facing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including co‑dependency, anxiety, depression, bereavement, low self‑esteem, Obsessive‑Compulsive Disorder, Early Relational Trauma and Complex PTSD. Alongside analytic work, I am trained in EMDR, which can be helpful for processing traumatic memories and reducing the emotional charge of past experiences. When appropriate, I bring dreams and symbolic material into the work, drawing on my Jungian training to help patients understand the deeper movements of their inner world. I am experienced in working with gay men and women, and with questions of spirituality and meaning (I am a member of the BACP Spirituality Division). Whether the focus is trauma, identity, dreams, or spiritual development and individuation, I follow each person’s process closely and help them move toward a more coherent, grounded and satisfying life.
