Availability

I currently have limited availability for new supervisees, including qualified and trainee therapists. I offer individual supervision online, with some availability for in-person sessions.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced psychdynamic psychotherpist and clinical supervisor, working with both quailfied and trainee therapists. My supervisory approch is primarily psychodynamic, informed by psychoanalytic thinking, from both the object relations and Jungian perspectives.

I see supervision as a collaborative and reflective space in which we can think together about the client, the therapeutic relationship and the emotional dynamics that emerge in the parallel process. I pay particular attention to transference and countertransference.

I aim to provide a supportive but thoughtful space where supervisees can explore uncertainty , difficuties and ethical dilemmas openly , while developing greater confidence in their own clinical work and therapeutic identity.

I welcome supervisees from diferent cultural backgrounds and am particularly interested in how culture, language and identity may inflect both the therapeutic and supervisory relationships.

Practice description

I work collaboratively and encourage supervisees to bring not only clinical material but also their own thoughts, feelings and uncertainties about the work. We may consider unconscious processes, relational dynamics, boundaries , ethical issues and the impact of organisational or cultural contexts.

I work with both qualified and trainee therapists and can support supervisees at different stages of their professional development.

My aim is to help each supervisee develop their own clinical thinking and confidence rather than impose a particular way of working.

My first session

In our first session, we will discuss what you are looking for from supervision. We can also think together about how we might work , including the frequency of sessions and professional requirements. This initial meeting gives us both an opportunity to consider whether we can work well together.
