I am a vastly experienced counsellor working with clients to address personal issues and as a coach addressing professional issues on a one to one basis within the contained environment of a room or alternatively a walk & talk approach on the hills of Surrey. In a room or out in all elements which in and of itself can introduce the element of change just by facing the weather, hail or shine, daylight or darkness it is change, facing a different outlook, stars or clouds it matters not, change is key.

Change is constantly happening which we often deny or avoid. We feel depressed, overwhelmed, out of our depth, struggling, stressed, anxious, confused, lost without knowing where to turn or how to cope.

Being proactive, orchestrating our own change, taking charge of ourselves, is hugely empowering, gaining self-worth, gaining a sense of purpose and direction is cathartic!

My role is to facilitate you understanding yourself, enabling change.

I have a background information form that I ask you initially to complete and return which includes your desired outcome that you want to achieve from your sessions.  

Usually followed by a brief telephone conversation to satisfy any questions you may have and to explain and discuss the specific approach appropriate to your particular issue.  You are then ready to start your sessions as agreed. 

However therapy often uncovers further issues for consideration which would be discussed during the ongoing sessions or their maybe uncertainty around your exact concerns in which case we will explore your situation to identify what is troubling you.

I use the 7 eyed supervision model, 1-1 or group online or face to face working with individuals, organisations or charities providing counselling services.

I consider supervision and personal therapy to be essential for all counselling practitioners in safeguarding clients, practitioners and the profession.

First sessions are negotiable in order to establish requirements for each practitioner to maintain and sustain the uniqueness of their approach within ethical boundaries.
