About me and my therapy practice

I am a fully qualified trainer, with Fellowship to the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). I have worked as a lecturer and trainer across colleges, higher education facilities and independently for the past eight years. My approach to teaching is always andragogical and experiential, ensuring that people feel involved in their training experiences. I also try to create an open, person-centred environment for training people, to ensure that they feel that the learning space is warm and open for them to engage.

Practice description

I am available to hire for training should this be of interest to your organisation. I can cover many different topic areas in the mental health field including but not limited to:

- Bereavement and loss (including anticipatory grief)

- Trauma

- Self care and compassion fatigue

- Vicarious trauma

- Wellbeing at work

- Creative techniques in counselling

- Research in counselling

- Theoretical concepts of counselling

For more information please contact me and I'd be happy to provide further information or build a bespoke training package for you.

My first session

I am happy to speak with representatives of organisations who might be interested in my work. In the first instance this would be via video link or telephone at no cost to discuss needs and explore how we might move forward. Following this, rates are on a case by case basis and will be sent over as a written quote to each organisation based on the type of training required.

Please email me directly if you'd like to meet and discuss this further and I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.
