About me and my therapy practice

  • BSc (Hons) Psychology
  • MSc Counselling Psychology
  • OCN Certificate in Counselling Supervision

I have over 5 years of experience providing supervision and training for volunteers, trainee counsellors and qualified counsellors. I specialise in supporting professionals who work in life limiting illnesses, end-of-life care and bereavement.

I currently work as a Clinical Supervisor at Birmingham Hospice supporting a team of multi-disciplinary staff with their wellbeing and professional development.

I am an experienced trainer and educator on the subjects of managing difficult conversations and supporting people through loss and grief. In addition to this, I have been trained by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust to deliver SAGE & THYME communication skills workshops for professionals working in the NHS. I strongly believe that we never stop growing and developing as people, so I am committed to my own continuous professional and personal development.
