Availability

I am currently available for guest teaching, CPD and tailored workshops for counselling training providers and organisations. My hours are flexible, and sessions can be delivered online or in person by arrangement.

If you have a gap in your programme, a subject participants are finding difficult, or an idea you would like developed into an engaging session, please get in touch.

About me and my therapy practice

Training can leave people with plenty of information but no clear sense of how to use it. My sessions help bridge that gap by making complicated ideas understandable, relevant and applicable in practice.

I am a BACP accredited counsellor, qualified clinical supervisor and experienced tutor. I also hold a Level 3 Award in Education and Training.

My degree in English Literature and master’s in Creative Writing inform the way I communicate and teach. I use clear language, thoughtful discussion and creative activities without oversimplifying the subject.

My teaching style is warm, structured and collaborative. I encourage questions, uncertainty and honest reflection. Participants are not expected to arrive with all the answers or to get everything right.

Practice description

I offer guest teaching, CPD and workshops for students, practitioners, professional teams and organisations.

Possible sessions include:

  • Learning from mistakes – working with uncertainty, feedback and the fear of getting things wrong.
  • Self-care beyond the checklist – exploring realistic and sustainable approaches to looking after ourselves within demanding roles.
  • Creative approaches to reflection – using accessible creative methods, including concrete poetry, to explore experiences that can be difficult to express directly.
  • Difficult conversations and relational repair – developing the confidence to acknowledge tension, respond thoughtfully and remain engaged when conversations become uncomfortable.

Sessions can be adapted to participants’ experience, your intended outcomes and the time available. I use clear, visually engaging materials and focus on learning that remains useful after the session has ended.

My first session

Before a booking is agreed, we will have an initial conversation about the problem you would like the training to address.

We can discuss who will be attending, what you would like them to gain, their existing experience, the available time, delivery format and any accessibility requirements.

I will then suggest a clear focus and structure so that we both understand what will be delivered and what participants should take away from it. This initial conversation is without obligation.

Availability

I am currently accepting new clients for in-person counselling in Farnborough and online across the UK.

I offer daytime and evening appointments Monday to Friday.

If you're wondering whether we might be a good fit, I offer a free 20-minute introductory call before you decide whether you'd like to book a first session.

About me and my therapy practice

Does it feel as though everyone was given a rule book for life that you somehow missed? Anxiety, overwhelm, low self-esteem, or ADHD/neurodivergence can leave you wondering why everything feels so hard. Get in touch for a free 20-minute initial call.

About me and how I work

Much of my work with ADHD and neurodivergence is with women who have discovered this later in life, as well as those who are beginning to wonder whether it might explain some of their experiences. You don't need a diagnosis to work with me.

I also work with people experiencing relationship difficulties, stress, burnout, depression and addiction.

I'm an integrative counsellor, which means I adapt the way I work to you rather than expecting you to fit a particular type of therapy. The relationship between us matters to me. I want it to feel equal, and I try to meet you where you are.

I'm warm and supportive, but I'm also willing to gently challenge you when I think it could be helpful. I'll always check with you first. I won't assume I know what you're thinking or feeling, and I won't put words in your mouth.

Counselling saved my life, so I know how important it is to feel that your counsellor actually gets you. That experience has shaped the way I work and the kind of relationship I try to build with my clients.

I'm a BACP Accredited counsellor, qualified clinical supervisor and counselling tutor.

Practice description

I offer face-to-face counselling in Farnborough as well as online counselling across the UK.

Sessions are your space. You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to talk about or where to begin. Some clients come with something very specific they want to work on; others simply know that something doesn't feel right. Both are completely fine.

We'll work at a pace that feels right for you. I'll listen and help you make sense of what is happening, but I won't just sit silently while you do all the work. When it's helpful, I'll ask questions, notice patterns and help us explore what's going on together.

I also understand that traditional ways of doing therapy don't suit everyone. If you're ADHD or neurodivergent, we can talk about what helps you feel comfortable and engaged in sessions rather than expecting you to behave in a particular way because you're in a counselling room.

I offer both short and longer-term counselling depending on what you need.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute introductory call. It's an opportunity to tell me a little about what you're looking for, ask any questions and get a sense of whether I might be the right counsellor for you. There's no obligations.

If you decide to go ahead, our first counselling session is a chance for us to begin getting to know each other. You don't need to prepare anything or know what you want to talk about.

I'll ask some questions about what has brought you to counselling and what you would like to get from it, but there's no pressure to tell me everything straight away.

It's also your opportunity to get a feel for me and how I work. The relationship between us matters, so I want you to feel able to decide whether working together feels right for you.

Availability

I am currently accepting new supervisees.

I offer face to face counselling in Farnborough as well as online sessions across the UK.

Appointments are available Monday to Friday, including daytime and evening appointments.

About me and my therapy practice

I bring a broad knowledge of counselling approaches, including person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT and Gestalt, which allows me to support you in developing or maintaining a coherent, theory-informed way of working. I work from a relational perspective, with an awareness of developmental stages and wider systemic dynamics, and I also offer psychoeducation where this supports your learning and confidence in practice.

Practice description

I offer clinical supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors, providing a supportive and reflective space to explore your client work and professional development.

I use the Seven-Eyed Model of supervision to explore your work from different perspectives, including your client, your interventions, the therapeutic relationship, and any wider relational or systemic dynamics. This helps us to think more deeply about your work and identify patterns that may not be immediately visible.

I also draw on the Integrated Developmental Model (IDM) to tailor supervision to your stage of development. This allows me to offer more structure and guidance where needed, while also supporting you to build confidence, autonomy and your own professional voice over time.

My approach balances support with appropriate challenge. I aim to support you in developing a way of working that feels coherent and grounded in theory, building on the knowledge and experience you already bring. I draw on a range of approaches, including person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT and Gestalt, where this is helpful to your work.

I place strong emphasis on self-awareness and use of self, supporting you to reflect on your responses to your clients and any parallel processes within the work.

I work within an ethical and professional framework, supporting you to maintain clear boundaries, recognise the limits of your competence, and make safe, considered decisions in your practice.

My first session

In our first supervision session, we will focus on getting to know each other and establishing a working agreement that meets your needs. This includes discussing your current practice, your experience level, and what you would like from supervision.

I will provide a supervision contract, which we will go through together to agree how we will work, including boundaries, confidentiality and ethical responsibilities.

This is also an opportunity for you to see how I work and to decide whether I am the right supervisor for you.

You are welcome to bring client work or any immediate concerns to this session.
