I am currently recruiting participants for a research project as part of my MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy practice at Bath Spa University. My study will focus on older therapists' experiences of their own ageing and decisions about retirement.

The project is a qualitative study, using semi-structured interviews and thematic analysis. It has received full ethical approval from Bath Spa University,
Participant criteria
To take part, you need to be a qualified and practising counsellor or psychotherapist aged 60 years or above.
What will taking part involve?
The research will involve one 1-hour semi-structured interview on MS Teams, at a mutually convenient time.
If you are interested in taking part in the study, I will send you a participant information sheet which will include all the information you need to know. Additionally, I will send a consent form to complete which explains that taking part is entirely voluntary and you can opt out at any time.
It is also important to let you know that your personal information will be protected and the research findings will be anonymised so that you will not be identified.
