This study explores how trainee therapists experience embodiment during their training. Your responses will help inform future training practices.
The questionnaire takes approximately 3-4 minutes. In this questionnaire, ‘embodiment’ refers to how you notice and experience sensations, feelings, or awareness in your body. Please read this information carefully before deciding whether to take part.
This research is being conducted as part of my Level 4 Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling. I am a trainee therapist and follow all professional and ethical guidelines set out by the BACP and my training course.
This study aims to explore how trainee therapists experience and develop embodied awareness during their training, including experiences in skills practice, supervision, and on placement. Your responses are anonymous (no names or email addresses are collected). Anonymous excerpts from longer written responses may be used in my assignment; any identifying details will be removed. Please do not include names or identifying information. Responses will be used only for this research project and stored securely in password-protected files in line with data protection regulations. All data will be permanently deleted after assessment/marking/moderation has been completed.
Every effort has been made to ensure that the topic, language, and questions will not elicit or trigger unpleasant or traumatic responses. Participation is voluntary. You may skip any question and withdraw at any time without giving a reason.
By completing and submitting the questionnaire, you are agreeing to take part in this research.
