I'm recruiting participants for an 10-minute anonymous online survey exploring self-compassion, perceived supervisory support, and well-being.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT
Mental health trainees often experience high levels of emotional exhaustion, affecting both practitioner wellbeing and client care. This study investigates whether self-compassion and supervisory support may serve as protective factors against burnout.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF YOU TAKE PART
Should you choose to participate, you will complete an anonymous online survey on Qualtrics.
You will be asked about your perceptions of the supervisory relationship, how you respond to yourself during difficult times, your mental health, and your experiences of burnout.
All demographic questions include a "prefer not to say" option.
WHO CAN TAKE PART
To participate, you must be:
(1) enrolled in a UK-accredited mental health training programme OR have qualified within the past 24 months
(2) AND be engaged in supervised clinical practice.
Participation is voluntary. You may withdraw before data analysis. A debriefing sheet with mental health support resources will be provided upon completion.
A Participant Information Sheet and Consent Form will be provided before you decide to take part.
This research has received approval from the Goldsmiths Psychology Department Ethics Committee.
