Our reciprocal agreement we share with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) which recognises each other’s counsellor and psychotherapist accreditation schemes has temporarily paused. During the pause we won't be accepting any new applications for BACP accreditation from IACP members.
BACP and IACP will be undertaking a review of the reciprocal agreement and will provide an update to members further in early 2024.
You must work within the Code of Ethics and Practice or Ethical Framework that applies in the country in which you work. You will also be subject to the appropriate Professional Conduct Procedures.
