Men are now more likely to go for therapy. Our Public Perceptions Survey this year found that 27% of men had sought help from a counsellor or psychotherapist.

Our survey found that 83% of men agreed it’s a good idea to seek counselling or psychotherapy for a problem before it gets out of hand.

71% of men agreed people might be happier if they talked to a counsellor or psychotherapist about their problems.

And only 24% of men agreed it’s self-indulgent to seek counselling or psychotherapy if you don’t have a serious problem.

In this vlog, our member Will Davies talks about how men’s attitudes towards mental health are changing and how counselling can help.
