About me and my therapy practice

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist which is a blended approach of CBT, Person - Centred approach and Attachment theory. This approach allows flexibility in tailoring the sessions to your needs and working in a way that suits you. My practice is client - led as I believe the client, you are the expert of your experiences. Integrative Psychotherapy enables us to explore your thoughts, feelings, emotions and experiences in a safe, non - judgemental environment. Taking the first steps and reaching out for support can be difficult and I want to make this process as easy and as comfortable for you.

Over the past decade, I have worked in educational settings supporting individuals and young people with depression, low self-esteem, separation, loss, bereavement and abuse. I have also gained experience working at a non-profitable trauma organisation working with clients who experienced various forms of abuse. I have experience working in elite sport by supporting athletes with Sport Performance and mental health.

As of late, I have worked in an Eating Disorder charity as a mental health practitioner and supported young people and adults with various forms of typical and atypical eating disorders, disordered eating, body image issues and comorbidities. Such as trauma, personality disorders, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, attachment issues and more.

Practice description

I offer both short-term and long-term psychotherapy on a one-to-one basis for adults (16 years and over). Sessions are conducted online via a platform called “Whereby” or telephone (whichever you prefer). This enables me to offer support across the UK as all sessions are online.

Sessions are on a weekly basis with an indefinite amount of sessions to allow flexibility in meeting your needs.

My first session

Prior to working with me, I offer a free 30 minute consultation over the phone. This provides you with the opportunity to have an informal chat, discuss what you are looking for and ask questions. This will help you to make an informed decision if I am the right therapist for you. At this point, there is no obligation to work with me. If you do then decide to work with me moving forward, at the first session I will conduct an initial assessment which allows me to understand you more.
