Feeling stuck and longing for change, but not sure how to go about it? An experienced counsellor, I help people to understand what is holding them back, and how to move forward. So if you're struggling with difficult feelings such as anxiety, sadness, frustration or fear, I can help you explore and overcome them in a warm and non-judgemental environment.
I specialise in treating anxiety, dating & relationship issues, low self esteem, and work-related stress. I also specialise in helping clients who feel 'stuck'. So, if your career is in a rut, you still haven't found 'the one', or are just not sure what to do with your life, I can help you unpack your feelings, and find clarity about what to do next.
I don’t give advice and I won’t tell you what to do, but I won’t leave you to flounder alone either. In therapy, I aim to provide a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and problems in confidence, develop a greater understanding of yourself, and be supported to consider the changes you may wish to make in your life.
My first session
I know finding a counsellor can feel daunting, so I welcome you to contact me with any questions you may have. A free 15-minute telephone or Zoom consultation is also available if you would like to know a little bit more before committing to an introductory counselling session with me.
The purpose of the introductory session is to discuss what brings you to counselling now in more depth, and to find out what you hope to gain from having therapy. It's also a chance for you to see how I work, and for us to decide whether I am the right fit for you going forwards.
