About me and my therapy practice
Your future depends on what you do in the present...........
Counselling offers you a safe, confidential, non-judgmental and caring space to explore issues, thoughts, emotions and feelings that have come about as a result of various life events. While we cannot change difficult situations of the past we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. My aim is to help you understand what may be going on in your life, look at what you might like to change and empower you to do so. It can feel good to be free of the burdens that you originally came in to counselling to address.
As an integrative counsellor I am able to use several different types of therapy, enabling me to have various approaches to suit different issues.
I currently work with adults and children in one to one sessions in schools in Kent (with Kent Counselling for Schools) and within my private practice in Sevenoaks. I also have experience in working at Family Matters (UK Charity for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse), Place2Be in both primary and secondary schools and at a GP Practice.
