My approach has a person centred, client led , non judgemental core, where I work at your pace and support you in finding the best way forward that works for you as an individual or couple. I sometimes integrate other therapies in Counselling sessions using my intuition to help a client with their process. This may include coping strategies, mindfulness, CBT or Transactional Analysis (T.A.).

About Me: Stephanie Kitt/ Fishwick.

BACP Counsellor | Talking Therapist | Supervisor (Accred)

I am an accredited BACP counsellor, which means that I am a fully qualified member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP, Accred). I work within their ethical framework and I am committed to ongoing professional development.

My experience includes many years of face to face counselling with individual adults, young people and couples. Since 2004, I have spent a lot of time within secondary schools, helping teenagers with their personal development, self esteem and focus.

My work has been within the NHS working for the MacMillan Centre at Trafford General Hospital supporting those with bereavement and terminal illness.

Through my counselling and ongoing training I continue to gain new skills, knowledge and experience which is invaluable to the work I do.

I am a Person Centred and Integrative Clinical Supervisor, offering supervision, support & guidance to counsellors, student counsellors and those in the helping professions.

I would like to support you in your chosen model of counselling to be the best practitioner you can be and I will encourage you with congruence and warmth to have your own unique style of working, providing encouragement to challenge, learn and grow.

My work includes private practice in Urmston both face to face and online and I also supervise counsellors and student counsellors at The Family Counselling Centre in Altrincham. My experience includes working with adult individuals, children & young people and couples.
