About me and my therapy practice
Taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting. You might wonder, Will I be understood? Will it really help? These feelings are completely natural. In the relationship with me, I will offer you an accepting and compassionate environment where you feel truly seen and heard. In this space, you can explore, process and begin to find clarity.
In our sessions, I will listen, reflect, and gently challenge when needed—helping you gain new perspectives on your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs. I may highlight recurring themes or offer interpretations that allow you to see things in a new light. Through self-awareness, you can move from feeling stuck to feeling in control and have the ability to create meaningful change in your life.
Clients come to me for support with a wide range of challenges. You might be struggling with overwhelming anxiety, feeling stuck in a cycle of self-doubt, or navigating a difficult relationship. You may be dealing with past trauma, deep feelings of shame, or a sense of loss that’s hard to put into words. These are just some of the issues I can help with.
Practice description
There’s no single way to experience life, and there’s no single way to approach therapy. That’s why I trained as an integrative psychotherapist. This means I draw from a range of therapeutic methods so we can work in a way that is right for you.
My unique background means I often work with clients who are from marginalised cultural groups. I have worked with clients navigating challenges that arise from being different due to their race, sexuality, gender - such as relationship issues, complex trauma, discrimination, identity and cultural conflict.
Before retraining as a psychotherapist, I spent 20 years working in the music industry as an award-winning publicist—first at a major record label and then as the founder of my own PR agency. This first-hand experience means I can combine my experience in the music and entertainment industries with my mental health background to work effectively with clients in this field and other competitive and pressurised industries. I can help with challenges such as imposter syndrome, comparison, low self-esteem, stress and burnout.
Alongside my private practice, I lead the mental health service for a major record label, supporting musicians and industry professionals. The music world moves fast, and with that comes unique pressures—scrutiny, self-doubt, performance anxiety, imposter syndrome, and burnout. Whether you’re grappling with sudden fame, the pressure to constantly create, or the demands of an unpredictable career, I provide a space where you can process these challenges, build resilience, and reconnect with yourself.
I offer a few low cost slots for trainee counsellors or therapists.
If any of this resonates with you, then drop me a line.
My first session
Following a brief initial call, we will schedule a pre-therapy meeting, this is for 50 minutes. It’s a chance for you to share what brings you to therapy now and what your hopes are. You can find out a bit more about how I work to see if I am the right therapist for you. If at the end of the session we decide to work together, we will then agree some general terms.

About me and my therapy practice
Are you a trainee or recently qualified counsellor looking for low-cost supervision or an additional supervisor? You may be an experienced counsellor seeking a supervisor that’s different to you to help you integrate an intersectional lens to your work to navigate the complexities of oppression and privilege within a supportive, empathic relationship.
I am a trainee supervisor working with the Seven-Eyed model that has been adapted to take an anti-oppressive approach to supervision.
I am a BACP senior-accredited and UKCP-registered psychotherapist. My initial diploma training was with the CPCAB relational framework. I then completed an MA in integrative psychotherapy.
Before I retrained as a psychotherapist, I worked in the music industry as a publicist for 20 years. This experience has led me to become the clinical lead of a mental health service at a major UK record label, working with musicians. I hold this role alongside my private practice.
