About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced MBACP Snr. Accredited counsellor. I offer open ended and long term therapy as well as time limited therapy. I provide a confidential and safe place to explore problems and difficulties you may be experiencing in your life. Counselling can empower you to make changes in your life. I am a CBT therapist integrating person centered approach and psycho-dynamic counselling. I offer counselling for Eating Disorders, relationship issues, bereavement loss, depression, anxiety and stress, low self esteem and youth counselling. I work within the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) ethical framework and code of practice. I am also a self care trainer and facilitator for SHINE (Self Help Independence Nutrition and exercise), working with young people with obesity. I am a member of BACP Children & Young People. I lecture on Eating Disorders, self- esteem, confidence and self- harm. I have completed an eight-week course on Mindfulness and Meditation (October 2013) and a four week course in October 2017. I previously was registered nurse and registered midwife.
