About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed? I am a warm and approachable, experienced, person-centred counsellor, committed to providing a confidential and empathic space, free of judgement, where you are welcome to talk about and explore any issues that are causing you distress.
Counselling is a collaborative process which aims to empower and enable you to recognise and address aspects in your life which you may find problematic or confusing.
Together, we will explore how you experience yourself and life with the aim of bringing clarity to those aspects with which you are struggling, enabling you to decide how to manage your life and to meet life's challenges with greater awareness of your resources and strengths.
Taking the step to see a counsellor may feel daunting. If you decide to take that step you might find that counselling can make a real difference when you’re going through tough times and that feeling accepted for who you are, feeling heard and understood and not judged for what you feel or think, does help.
Alongside my private practice I am currently working at a London NHS Trust, where I see people who have been affected by a diagnosis of cancer.
What next? Feel free to contact me initially by phone or email to arrange a no-obligation first session. In this session we can discuss what brought you to therapy, what your hopes are for our work together and where you can see if you feel comfortable with me.
