About me and my therapy practice
Counselling can be a difficult decision to take & an overwhelming process for some clients, so it is important to feel I am ready to start the process and make the change and to choose the right counsellor for you.
Therapeutic relationship is the main tool for my work & my aim is to create a welcoming, warm, confidential & non-judgemental space that helps you to feel safe enough to explore your feelings and thoughts. That environment allows for the awareness & change to take place.
I will walk alongside you in your journey & will work with you collaboratively toward your goals from therapy. I will listen to you attentively, empathically and non-judgmental to help you explore your inner worlds.

What is Supervision?
Supervision is a specialised form of professional mentoring provided for practitioners responsible for undertaking challenging work with people. Supervision is provided to ensure standards, enhance quality, advance learning, stimulate creativity, and support the sustainability and resilience of the work being undertaken (BACP, 2016b).
Supervision is formal but collaborative process that involves regular ‘consultative support’. As your supervisor we will form a ‘supervisory alliance’ that share objectives about how to work together constructively to provide a safe, ethical and competent service to your clients.
BACP recommends to have sufficient supervision to allow all aspects of client’s work to be discussed as necessary, and to enable supervisee to develop a constructive relationship with their supervisor.
Recommended Supervision Hours:
Accredited & Senior Accredited Counsellors must have a minimum of 1.5 hs of supervision / month.
For more iformation about the BACP guidelines on Supervision or recommended time for students and groups, Please take a look at this page:
