About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative counsellor/psychotherapist (as well as a Supervisor to other Therapists) with a multitude of experience In many fields I am committed in my role to helping clients to find contentment from their lives and facilitate growth. It is always a joy for me to watch others growth and development.

I adapt my way of working according to personality and concerns.

My style is creative allowing me to work with the unique requirements of all my clients.

Practice description

Working within the education system as a school counsellor I work with children dealing with issues such as low self esteem, anxiety, self-harm,body dysmorphia, eating disorders, depression, anger management, attachment, and bereavements as well as trying to get the child to function as best they can within exceptional circumstances at home and within the school.

Working for Turning Point a rehabilitation/treatment centre for addiction, I took referrals via the legal system, courts and other mental health organisations.I gained so much experience not only within the addiction field but also around loss, desperation, self harming, illnesses, grief, medication, friendships and the importance of independence, building and rebuilding support networks as well as supporting clients to find help in a number of other areas including benefits, training, education, housing and GP.

My overall responsibility was to support my clients until they were able to support themselves

I have been in private practice since 2011, I will provide a safe and supportive environment where you will be listened to without judgement.
